tii at West Coast Auto

Im getting rid of my supra and buying another FC. I was browsing CL and found a 10th Annie that has been reposted countless times. They just dropped their price from 6k to 5k. That still seems high. I was thinking about offering 4.5k out the door. Just wondering if any of you looked at it and if you had experience with them.

Never looked at the car because the price is rediculous. They are a dealer, so that is what they do. I have talked to them directly on two different occasions. At the time they didn't know **** about rotaries. That may have changed over the past few years. Without specific reciepts for a rebuild I would assume that that car has the original motor and is tired as hell and in need of replacement. Anyone who assumes otherwise without proof is throwing away money. From what I have read on this forum they will represent the car as whatever they have to to get you to buy it.

I went to see the car not too long ago. past by it when looking to buy a car with my fiance. >:/

couldnt find the impreza wagon we were looking for.

but stopped by. guy came out and let me start it up. it died right after cranking. started back up second try. smoked a bit at first start. engine bays pretty dirty. hasnt been rebuilt. has a bad oil leak somehwere. front cover was covered in grime. omp lines looked good still. they were braided so im sure they work way better than the stock plastic tubing. needs a rebuild IMO. revved it to 6k and let off. smoked a bit from it then went away. interior is 7/10. Exterior looks like it was painted poorly. from what i could tell they dont start it up daily or weekly.

im not knocking the car so that you dont get it, this is just my observations is all. The car probably needs new o rings EVENTUALLY. and i need hooked on phonics. sorry. but thats all i could get out of it. He wouldnt let me test drive. he also said he sells like 6 "rotary rx7's a month and they get bought fast".......i think hes bad at lying. :]

hope this info was helpful.

These guys always pick up busted *** 7's and sit on them for months trying to sell overpriced cars with bad motors. They always have FD's and FC's listed $2-5k more than they are worth with good motors, and you can't hardly get any of them to run. The closest they came in price on a car was a salvage title FD that they had for $9999, but it was butchered with an ugly body kit, wing, wheels, and auto trans. I wouldn't recommend buying any 7 that they are going to offer. In all the years I have known of this dealer since back when I was old enough to drive and moreso since I bought my FD 8 years ago, these guys are a joke. They have never once offered a good condition RX7 and they have never accurately priced a car.

Alright, so much for that car. I cant buy a car from a private party because im horible at saving up money so I need to go to a dealership and get financed. I want either a tii or an fd. Heres an FD I found that they are selling in Tacoma.

http://thecarchoice.com/inventory_vi...=461&form_id=0

Im waiting to hear back from them if I can get financed for it. Theyre only asking 7500. It needs to be lowered on some new wheels but it has potential. Has anyone on here looked at it in person or talked to the dealer?

Im selling my Supra for 1500, it needs an engine rebuild. PM me for info.

Watermark credit union will finance 100% on many auto loans. All you need is a $25 minimum in a savings account with then to have the loan. Call them and see what the chances are of getting financing on a vehicle you are interested in. best rates and payments for sure. Just a matter of whether or not they wool say the cat is too old.

That fd IS IN ROUGH shape. I live about 10 mins from there and just judging by the body panels I would be seriously concerned with core support damage. This is going to lead to fitments problems for the rest of the time you own it.

If you are serious I can swing by and look at it. I also know of a FD chassis for sale for 5500. Includes a motor but needs rebuilt due to tossed apex seal. It isn't mine, but my neighbor drifts with the seller all the time.

LMK if you want me to look at the blue one.

This is a big misconception. Used car dealers get financing from the same place you can get it. They go through local banks. You can just the same. You can get the exact same financing without them. All you have to do is walk in the bank and ask them about it.

The biggest difference is that the dealer has motivation to give you a worse rate than you qualified for. They take a cut and you pay more for financing than if you would have walked into the bank yourself and got financed.

What you should do is go to a bank and find out how much and what rate you can get financed at. Then shop private party. Find the exact car you are going to buy and go back to the bank. Financing goes through in a day and you are saving thousands on the purchase price and the loan.

Do not deal with west coast auto! They are a bunch of sneaky Russians and guaranteed to screw you over. I looked at a '87 gxl that had a T2 engine. The guy Vladimir or whatever tried to say it was stock and wanted $5k but
It had almost 200k miles. I pointed out that it was a swap and tried to tell me I was wrong...oh big mistake, I pointed out everything that was suspect including the sunpro boost gauge screwed into the dash with wood screws. Then I pulled up kbb on my phone and told him he was a slimy cossack ****, and bid him good morrow.
