Suspension tuning question.

Alright, so, i've noticed that when i get into a corner car holds great going in, but when i get on the gas, even just a little, it feels like the rear wants to come out.

I am using the RB springs, and KYB AGX. I have the fronts set to as stiff as possible, and the rear to 6/8. Should i be making the front softer, and the rear stiffer to reduce oversteer?

I was unsure where to post this, so i decided to ask my fellow NW'rs.

I wanna get it tuned before this weekend. AutoX... weeee.

Thanks guys!

simple question: do you still have the DTSS on your car?

Yea, DTSS is still on the car. Does it cause a really extreme oversteer? I thought it would be slight.

I'll look for that post. Thanks guys!

if they are worn out, possibly. considrering your car is like 45 yrs old, they are prolly trashed.

hows your alignment? toe out in rear does weird stuff.

hahah... i wish it was 45 years old... only 22 though. 3 more years til i am emission exempt.

The DTSS bushings aren't worn. I've check when I changed a lot of my bushings to poly.

That paper was really good. From what i got out of it, i may make my front slightly softer, and the back significantly softer. probably 3/4 on the front and 3/8 on the back.

I am not a great driver. I still many times brake while I'm already into a corner. Still working on braking into the corner, not during. LoL.

i was exagerating a bit.. you cant tell by inspection if the DTSS's are still stiff enough to do their job properly. if you could literally move the sleeve by hand, the car would be undrivable.

either way, its 40 bucks for eliminators, and is recommended by everyone, so you should knock that out anyway.

also- softening rebound int eh front will help put power down on corner exit, a little. so ya try that. i would just go strait to full soft and see if theres a noticable difference, then tune accordingly

adjusting the rear will have no affect on corner exit traction
