Stolen!

Son of a!
Wake up this morning, and find out my girlfriend's car got broken into and all her stereo crap got broken. Alphasonik subwoofers/box/amplifier, and Kenwood cd-deck. Which is totally ******* bullshit since I have a gd in-dash dvd player in mine!
Excuse my language. Thanks.

That sucks brother. My real brother got his amp and sub stolen last week between 6 and 7 in the morning. All thieves must die!

i already pulled the in-dash thingy
someone on ebay bought it yesterday, took it out this morning... was lucky.
It just sucks for her, since she really likes her music. Just lucky it wasn't the whole car or anything like that...

Yeah no doubt. Would have gone out and hunted for someone samurai-style.
(got 3 swords right near the door to the apartment, and an axe by the TV )
Put too much work into that car... and speaking about it, we sanded down the hood and got some primer on it, it looks better than it did before with all the rock chips etc gunna sand down the whole car soon most likely, and find somewhere to get it painted for cheap :p

Bummer man.

Here is a tip for all you guys putting nice stereos in your cars. This is basically FACT.

Nice stereo + no garage = car with no stereo! It is especially true if you live in an apartment complex.

Buy the cheap CD player and save your $$ for a house.

Yeah no doubt, but its still nice to be able to listen to your music nicely. It sucks in a society where even locking your doors and stuff isn't good enough to have a drive where you enjoy it (with music). Could always be an *** and kill people's ac blowers, or pull a heater line... that would **** them off more than just stealing some cheap audio equipment. *shrugs*

it would give me a chance to use my new favorite weapon. my buddy moved back to port orchard and his farewell present to me was a stick about 2 feet long with a chainsaw chain wrapped around one end. it just feels like magic when you hold it. i carry it in the 7, you never know whats going to happen. its like...... insurence.

Razorblades...I like that Idea... I think I just might switch out the Shenai that I have in the back (to help hold up the hatch :P) and put my axe in there instead (securely of course.. can't have anyone stealing my toy...)..

I think the really creepy part about this is the fact that even though I've lived in this complex for the past 10 years.. I've only seen/heard of gas being stolen (had that happen twice before getting a locking gas cap). never anything like this.. and even in the past 2 years I hadn't even heard of that happening. So to have something like this happening, is just weird..

All I can say about this is even though they stole my stereo I thank them for respecting the 7 and not damaging her.

Not to take anything away from how much that blows, but don't you take your faceplate off when you leave your car. i always do that just because i always read of peoples **** gettin stolen, and i know people who have had their deck stolen. If people look in your car and don't see the nice fancy face plate they probably aren't going to break in and check.

A kid stole the face off my stereo once. Pissed me off had to buy a new stereo, when I had a perfectly good main unit still in my car. Never caught the kid.

It's really pathetic when low class mongrels that can't afford nice things let alone deserve anything nice because they pissed their life away and can't afford the toys we all love and enjoy so what do they do they steal from others. Why should I have to spend money on an alarm for my rx7 that prolly won't even stop scum from stealing it or the stereo out of it and leaving me with a broken window, I guess maybe so I can sleep at night without worrying, ohh and I live in yuppie Kirkland I feel for anybody that lives in Auburn or Kent. Every morning when I'm looking through the King County Journal newspaper I look at all the "crimes" most all of them deal with stolen cars or break ins, it getting out of control. People can have fourth and fifth chances in Seattle area with stealling cars or breaking in only to recieve a slap on the wrist. Someone better pray for the peice of **** that breaks into my car.

I just didn't think that it would get stolen.
Plus not having a faceplate wouldn't really do much... faceplateless things get sold on ebay all the time. Plus they would have still stolen the subwoofer/amp.
I wouldn't think that FB would have got broken into when there is 2 FCs right next to it.
*shrugs*
karma will come back and bite them, plus it wasn't that much stuff that was stolen, it just sucked.

My new security is a Ruger P89, and a viper car alarm. If ya hear it go off, come out shooting......

Cool

Don't bother with car alarm, if your car isn't parked close enough that you can hear it.
They've been way over used most people don't even pay much attention to em, silent paging system so you can sneak up on them
