Maybe it's your engine builder? Sound like something like that..

Out of 5 engines tuned, 3 have blown up. I was the first one to go with Steve, my car had 3000km(1900miles) on a brand new ported engine and it was running great. I had 95 of compression the day before. We went on the highway to tune the car even though he never asked me what kind of set-up I had under the hood??? We did 5 pulls and then I noticed that the car was running awful on idle. Steve agreed and we went back to the shop....the car now had 60 of compression and would never start when hot. I had the engine inspected and the springs were almost flat and the seals were curved so they couldn't seal properly. Diagnostic : extreme heat probably because I went to lean for a short time. So 25 minutes , 5 pulls and 1000$ of repair for 450$..what a deal!!

The other 2 guys have rear rotor with 0 compression!! So good luck to you guys!!

Well, two things...I run my own business and am the ONLY person there (one man show), and two I just don't know if I will have the time between now and then to finish my build, break the motor in, and find all the gremlins in it.

But seriously, if I can get this together and ready in enough time to give you guys notice, I will be there. But please don't count on me as I am going to be one of those guys who really won't let you know until the last minute that is availiable. Just the best I can do for now. Money isn't the problem by any means, just time.

But again, if this is something I can make, I will make it. I bet that man can squeeze high 300's out of my setup.

A deposit will be required. I am not sure what Steve's stipulations are for a "walk-in". Something between you and him will work out.

I have a couple questions out to Steve and as soon as I hear back from him we will get the deposits rolling in.

Hello all,

I organized the last tune so I'll chime in.

First, my tune works great. It isn't comparable to my ground zero tune. No hiccups, no stalls. It makes impressive power and is remarkably smooth. No BS.

Steve solved some significant problems on other people's cars, both mechanical and electrical as well as tune related.

If you do this, come to the tune with the car prepared, with the car sorted. I offered a pre tune car check out day and I was the only one to come. Check your ignition, change your plugs (with ones appropriate to your setup), change your fuel filter, air filter, etc, etc. Pretend like the tune is 1 month before it is and have your car ready and then sort out the odds and ends problems for the next month.

It is well worth it, and I'm remarkably pleased.

Regards,
Justin Wade

**all people getting their cars tuned please PM me**

Ok, to make this simple we are going to start accepting deposits now. I will collect all the deposits and then send them to Steve. I would appreciate it if people would make the check out to Steve.

Once I recieve the deposits I will send them via certified mail.

$200 per person for a deposit is mandatory. Dyno time will be 85 per hour and will be held at horsepower connection. Dyno time will be paid for after tune.

Wow I wish this was a month later. I don't think my car will be ready for tuning by then.

Ha, thats what I was thinking too. My kan tune on my single fd is prefectly smooth. Drives even better than the car did when it was stock, except its making 375 to the wheels.

Maybe you guys dont get good gas up in toronto?

I am going to try really hard to make it to this. Maybe the parentals can watch the kids for a few hours this weekend so I can make it out. Spectators are OK right?

Im thinking about going down to spectate just because I really enjoy the guys at Horsepower connection and it'd be awesome to see a tuning master at work.
