Someone Please Lend me a 2 1/4 Socket!!!

Someone plese lend me a 2 1/4" socket so I can take off my flywheel. LOL I have a 2 1/2". LOL I personally don't want to buy this socket at Sears for like $20-$30 and never use it again. So if u are in the Tri Cities area and have this please lent it to me.

go to autozone and rent one, they are free to rent. you pay a deposit then get it back when you bring the tool back. Hope that works for you.

I used to work at autozone. They do have 3 sockets for rent but I don't think they have any 2 1/4.

Asian I'll shoot you a PM with my phone number. Call me friday before 5 and I will get you one to borrow.

I think you'll have a tough time with the 2 1/4. Why not look for a 2 1/8? It's closer to 54mm.

Hmmm, when I went to buy mine, I thought it was funny.

I had an adapter in it that converted it from 1/2" to 3/4" drive. I had it stuck inside the socket, and so she was just going to charge me the price of the adapter because she didn't see the UPC on the socket. Adapter was only $4. But I didn't feel right so i told her they were two pieces. LoL.. wouldn't been a good deal for $4 though. But ended up paying around $40.

Hahah. Some girls shouldn't work in tool stores... especially the ones that don't know anything about tools.

Definately 2-1/8" not 2-1/4"... you'll end up rounding off your nut.
