I talked to the seller a few minutes after it went online.
He's about 10minutes away from me. It's a clean title. I can do a compression test if anyone is serious about buying it. I expect it to sell very soon at his asking price.

Buying a FD or really any car it is all about condition vs. price. On a FD your money is best spent on condition rather than price.
Price has gone up, condition includes rust HOLES.

Look up this guys area code? Wisconsin? And out of state plates without a clear title? Usally you'd go with them to the lender, watch him pay the debt and the linder will issue the paper work to be signed by both parties so that the title comes to you in your name. Price might be hard to overlook but this sounds sticky.

Brian, the seller and Peter the buyer, brought it by for an inspection this afternoon.
Looks like Peter has a FD now.
Brian bought it when he was in the military on the east coast; he fell in love, married and moved back home with his new bride to his home town two years ago. We all know: If Momma's not happy, no one's happy. Brian and his now happy wife enjoy their new toyota but he's sad to see the FD go.
