As some of you may know...

It would probably be a permanent relocation if I were to move. I don't anticipate coming back to live here if I get into a great company like this one. But I'm worried they won't pay me a decent enough wage to relocate so we'll see what happens. Ill be happy either way

Why hate Washington?
Hey Hyper4mance2k why do you hate washington? Have you been leaving somewhere else already that you can compare?
I dont know but as far as I have seen ( I have been leaving in Miami, Los Angeles and Austin and originally from Peru) Washington is pretty nice. Of course it is not perfect as no place is, but it is 10 times better than Miami and Los Angeles. Now, Austin is pretty nice too.
The only thing I can say that I really hate here are the quality of the roads and the cops

I've lived here my whole life and I am sick of the climate. Sure the scenery is great, but man the weather is horrid, the average drivers are at best idiots, and it just gets old after a while. Phoenix area is amazing. Great scenery, quality roads, sunny all the time, hot in the summer, etc etc. I know I'll eventually end up moving out of WA

Well you guys have a point regarding the weather, but after living many years in a sunny place like Miami, you also get really tired of the extreme heat and the lack of seasons. Not to mention Arizona, yes I heard is beautiful and the roads plus the speed limits are great but the tires of the cars start melting while driving in some places during the summer ( and I am not joking ). Heat I think gets old faster than cold weather because there is only so much you can do to combat that, you can not go around naked when is too hot ( even though it would be funny ) on the other side when it is too cold you can always put on more clothes.
I dont know, maybe I feel like that because I have been in the hot weather already for too long, if it was the opposite I could be saying the opposite too.
The main problem is that us humans are too hard to please and are too sensitive to small changes in the weather.

I have lived in Miami, California (LA and SF) and NY and they are all nice in their own ways, but having moved here recently (March), Washington state (a) has no traffic to complain about relative to those places, (b) has nicer people, and (c) it's easier to "get away from the city" than in those places (if you like that).
..but that being said, to each their own and sometimes you have to go experience it for yourself !

Leo I have talked to many people from Miami and the only complaints I get are regarding humidity. Its not the heat or the sun they hate but the high humidity. There isn't much of that in AZ. It's a dry heat. But I wouldn't be worried about tires melting cuz its not like I'm gonna be buyin cheap tires. I always get the good performance tired for my 214mph SHO and my FD
