Moved to proper section, the classifieds is not for you to post threads on stolen cars. Good luck finding it.

So, a tip.... kinda late, but for other FC owners...

I find pulling my EGI fuse helpful. Yea, it is a pain to pull the EGI fuse everytime I park for work or something, but... it keeps my car from getting taken.

If you wanted, tie the EGI fuse into a switch.... then, switch off when you get out. The car will "try" to start. But, with no fuel, it won't work.

If you go the switch route.... hide it really well and tell no one. Not even friends.

I am going to be working on a proximity device for my ignition. The core will be built into my megasquirt. But, basically an RF key fob w/ an inductive power supply and RF transmitter w/ encoded signals. So, if the key fob isn't near the ignition, it won't start. I know a lot of newer cars are using this, I just want it in mine. Gotta tie it into the ECU so that it isn't bypassed easily.... I guess if they brought a mobile solder gun.... some wires... solder, etc. hahah.

Bummer. I got an eye on bremerton / silverdale for ya.

Even easier- Just put in a fuel cut switch, relay is under your dash where your right knee is. Really simple and effective mod.

LoL. For me, pulling a fuse is much better then an alarm system which I can bypass quicker then anything.

Alarms are nice and can make you feel safer. But.... great way to take someone's car.... walk up, set off their alarm. once it is turned off, set it off again. Then they will turn it off again. Keep doing it until they get annoyed and just turn it off.

Another thing that is done a lot around here, is sometimes just bash the window, pop the hood, disconnect the battery, then rip the dash out and bypass the ignition cut on the alarm. I haven't seen any off the shelf alarms that you can by that actually kill the ECU. Most of them just kill the ignition switch by bypassing it. Which, is really easy to get around. Crack surround, and cut some wires.

Once you're on the road, no worries. Get to a garage, and start parting it out.

Anywho, definitely dont rely purely on a car alarm. In the police department, we saw a ton of cars stolen w/ alarm systems armed. It's kinda like having a lot on your door at home. Yea, it keeps most honest people honest. But, if someone really wants to get in, they just break a window and unlock.

Or, maybe saying it's like having ADT.... which is a joke too. haha. Any home alarm system is alright, but it can be bypassed too. I know, I love security stuff.

Sleep passenger with a shotgun...

Sucks bro, any unique parts we should be watching craigslist for?

I've had a car stolen, it's infuriating.
