I guess maybe it's the holidays getting to everyone but I have never seen so much drama between Users and Mods on here ever. Sure I've seen it here and there but it seems like lately everyone's got the anti-holiday spirit going around. People are getting banned, post deleted and $h!T talked by Mods left and right. I know the internet is communism at it's finest but it used to be hidden better.

Us Users aren't so innocent either for sure and i've seen some $h!T talking to Mods from us too but dang, 2 week bans and/or total annihilation from the site? Ouch. It's getting a little out of control on both ends don't you think? I hope Santa brings everyone on here some holiday cheer asap cause RX7Club sure could us some on both sides

Nothing has changed. Follow the rules and all is fine. Everyone hates the police but all they are doing is their job, attempting to keep the peace. If you break a law you get in trouble, you break a rule on the forum, you get in trouble. Ever since I have been here a mod has never been a dick for no reason and have actually been quite reasonable. There have been a few cases recently where if I was an Admin I would have banned the person permanently, just because we don't need people like that here. Most of us don't pay to play in their house but we still feel like we have some sort of "right" to do what we want. (what recently includes intentionally breaking rules or insulting the mods/rx7club staff directly) How come 42,000 other club members exist here with the mods just fine but a very very small few have problems? Is it the mods or specific trouble makes?

Would you go to work, sheit on your boss's desk and then call him a dick because he fired you? If you don't like it go start your own forum. We will go on just fine without you, you aren't that important, and believe it or not, the world does not revolve around you. Till then abide by the very simple and logical rules that attempt to keep everyone happy and the mods will leave you alone.

P.S. I think there is a higher level of stress from most rotards refusing to give up on their smelly, loud, gas guzzling, 20+ year old, rebuild needing engines causing them to have no money for the holidays.

I never said Mods were dicks to me and that i don't like them. Mods are here to enforce the rules and they do a good job. But I've noticed a trend forming of Mods talking trash and then banning Users. What's the point of that? It just creates more drama and looks foolish on their end. Mods are the Chuck Norris' of RX7Club and you never saw old Chuck talking $h!T to those terrorists as he was round house kicking their faces in

All funny analogies aside, I'd just like to see more professional behavior from the Mods and less disrespect to those deserving punishment. Leave the drama to the petty Users creating it and enforce the rules when they step over the line. Don't bait them into breaking more rules cause we all know they'll bite. Set the bar and be an example of how we should all act on here, professional and respectful....... With a little rotardedness thrown in for fun.

 

You seem to be missing something somehow. The mods, are admins, are forum gods. You may not be familiar with this, but that means they are owners here. They own everything you think is "yours" on this forum. They basically own you forum wise. They own this thread, this post, this word. If they want to make every post we post say that we suck, they may. If they want to bait an immature kid raging online, they can. I have been an admin before, it is fun to ban people that think they are smart. It gives them a much needed reality check of where they are in this "system". It may be a power trip but it's their forum, they can do what ever they want. If they want to change your avatar to a fat women slapping another fat women with a headless salmon they may. They are ALLOWING you to post. They are allowing you to use THEIR servers, their forums, their everything. If they were unreasonable they would have deleted this useless stupid thread, but it still seems to be here.

Just to be clear, my last post and this post are not directed to you, I am just giving example on the state of mind you should be in when you use other peoples services. Basically I am trying to get a point across that you, me, everyone that isn't an admin have no "power". We are literally nothing. Whens the last time you clicked on an ad while browsing the forum? That is how this forum gets money aside from people paying for advanced seller memberships. You literally have NO rights what so ever here. You are LUCKY to be able to use this system. You have NO right to bitch, and you will also get nothing from starting this bitch thread. This is NOT a democracy, it is a dictatorship and you are not in charge. Now if we PAID for the ability to use these services we would then have some sort of weight to swing, but for now we have less weight than a super model after a decent sized crap.

If or when there is big enough of a problem, someone will start their own forum such as just happened at v8rx7forum.com. Their admin went crazy and started charging people to search. Someone created another forum norotors.com. That forum is doing great and is really nice to have chilled laid back admins. V8rx7forum died the next week and no longer exists. Is there a big problem here, no. People are breaking rules, and mods are warning and then banning people that continue do so. If that DIDN'T happen I would be worried. As far as I know, mods don't get paid to do mod work. They do it to keep this forum civil, and fun for everyone.

Mods/Admins are human. If they want to talk sheit and make examples out of rule breakers, they can, and should. They have every right to have reasonable fun while doing their job they are not getting paid to do. XD Does it seem a little unethical and unprofessional, maybe, but they are mods, they can do what they want.

What are we supposed to do when the member asks us to ban them just so they can get their cursing criticism of us to not be deleted or edited? I'm just doing what they ask, for Pete's sake!
