The speed model has extra protection for the fabric above where the lap belts go through, and cost $20 dollars more.

Sorry I have no idea where to go to have that fixxed- What part of the seat needs fixxed so I can be more carefull with mine?

if you stick your hand inbetween the upright and flat section of the seat you can feel a bar. the foam sits over the bar and there are threads(?) that go around the bar holding the fabric & foam in place. Basically i put my hand at the back of the seat to support my self when i was doing something and those threads ripped. so sometimes the foam slides off the bar and the only thing between my *** and the bar is a little bit of fabric
BTW i think i have the speed as i have plastic rings around the lap belt holes, is this correct?

if you hit up a reputable upolstery shop they can probably do it. my porsche seat need a piece welded and I had a little rip in the material. so I had the shop strip the material and I welded the broken bar inside. I took the seat back and they put the new upolstery on top. they used a different material but it was close enough to the factory trim. the replacement seat was $2500 from the factory, it cost me $60 for the work and material.

The speed has a rectangle box were the lap belts go through and a little better protection of the fabric- the sprint has a triangle looking deal were the lap belt come through

Yeah I really love my sprint, allthough I can't gain any more weight or I won't fin in them(6'1-170)-but on the bright side NO FAT CHICKS lol
