SCCA Packwood

There is a Porsolo event on Saturday and a Solo event on sunday. has anyone been to packwood? Is it worth the trip and extra costs to go autoX out there? Are the courses longer than the other events? What is prosolo? lol...

im not seeing it on scca's website..
according to that, next event is July 19th.
i havnt been there yet, but from what i can tell its an enormous lot with nice pavement. definately looks worth the drive. just gotta hope that theres not too many cars. the runs are almost always over 70 seconds.

Is Packwood worth the drive?

Only if you want to go fast.

Prosolo is a side by side race with another car and the clock with two track layouts that are mirror images of each other, plus the start is a christmas tree style start. A lot of fun, but watch out to not fry your clutch. I did it the last time I did Prosolo.

You can find the 200+ page rule book on scca's website to help you figure out your car class.

Why don't you ever come to the events around here?
