S5 turbo short block vs. S5 na short block.

So I finally got my S5 motor over here from Redmond. I had planned on a large streetport and rebuild then putting the shortblock in the GSL-SE, however upon closer inspection, the housings are S5 TURBO housings (4 port.) I am wondering if I can just swap over the end plates to 6PI, or is the whole motor different? I know the turbos have a lower compression, and the high compression NA is what I am after. What will this effect and how?
Thanks, Robert.

yeah basically it would be better for you to use everything from the GSL-SE motor or use the t2 and do an s5 t2 conversion
