s5 na rx7 motor swap into another s5 na with blown seal?

hey I am wondering about the difficulty on swaping my running s5 13b na engine into another s5 na rx7 that has a blown seal? here is the story, I have a rx7 s5 na that runs great and perfect. the other day my trans went out so I was looking for a new trans and saw a s5 na rx7 for sale that has a blown seal. the reason why I want to just swap my motor into that car is that its body is alot cleaner than mine. so I was wondering if its a matter of just labbling what goes to what. and is it possible to take my good motor off my trans and drop it into the new rx with the good trans and bolt the trans and engine once the motor is droped in? I might have a guy with the equipment to do the swap but if he cant is there anyone that would be able to help out and I would give you 100 bucks to do the swap with me. I will be picking up the cannidate on monday and hopefully trying to get the motor swapped in this week. thanks

no. of course you cant bolt a s5 motor into another s5 car. the transmission on your s5 wont bolt to the tranny of the other s5 that has the exact same transmission you have. and no. your car doesnt run perfectly fine. it runs like ***

Yes it should be fairly straight forwards.
The simplest way is to pull the engine with EVERYTHING on it [you have to pull the trim on the pass side, and pull up the carpet and the kick panel and unplug a bunch of connectors for the engine wiring harness; also pull off the AC/PS bracket - requires removing the AC condenser, and pull the plug wires, fuel lines, heater hose, radiator, battery, and disconnect the oil cooler lines, throttle cable, engine mounts]

...Ok, That probably makes it sound like more work than it really is [that's the list off the top of my head, looking at the engine bay there'd be a couple other things I probably forgot on the list..]
Unfortunately I'm too far and too busy swapping my base to a 5sp right now ^_^' Just look carefully before you start trying to lift the engine... and pull the wiring harness through the firewall first, there's usually a connector hidden up too high to see and they try to get caught on the wall

if you have the right equipment, it should take an afternoon. The best way is to disconnect the harness from the ecu and pull it through the firewall. it is just plug and play after that (except for that darned bolt at the top of the engiine that you can not touch except with a 2 foot extension from below the car, lol)
get a haynes manual and just do it step by step. my 15 year old R and R'd his motor in a 1 day marathon, and he had not done anything car related before...
you will need a cherry picker. i have a couple dvd's if you want to borrow them and are old school enough to have a dvd player... pm me if you are interested
