The 21st is Father's Day, IIRC; so do something with Dad this weekend (June 13-14). That way when you wish you Dad a Happy Father's Day and head for the Rotards meet on the 21st, you won't have a guilty conscience.

p.s.
When my kids were little they thought name was Dadn; you know as in Dad n Mom. She's Mom and he's Dadn.

Ya, right, plans.

Remember that we're rotarded and plan to have a plan by the time of the drive.

We could make the Silver Creek Falls drive again, if we can find another civic to lead the pack.

So a bunch of piston-loving, rotary-hating neighbors talked the landlord into not renewing the shops lease.

This means a ton of work to find another shop; pack; move, unpack; etc., etc., etc.

The good news is that an opportunity has presented itself. Perhaps a better location will be found.

My father told me this, when I was 15 and he was on his death bed:
"Change"...
Expect it;
Accept it;
Adapt to it.

It was good advice then and it's good advice now.

I've observed that people will tolerate awful conditions because there is certainty in there lives.

When there is uncertainty in ones life, stress flourishes.

People cope best when they have certainty in their lives even if it is a bad certainty.

There is one certainty that should be most tolerable: We will have fun at the Rotards get together on June 20th and 21st.

Bob

Besides we don't have *Sales Tax* down here

Btw... 54 Minutes from Portland, 52 minutes from Corvallis.
See Bearzah, you are already getting the better end of the deal with Salem ^_-

Need help identifying this KIT!!!!

Hey all.
I just picked up a widebody kit for my 85 and need help identifying it as I need to find a front air dam replacement. I think it's a Mariah kit, but I'm not sure which one or even if they make it anymore. Make note of the side skirts which seem to be difficult to match to an existing kit. Also, the front fenders seem to have a low seem to match to an air dam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys,
-Chris

I have a new thread for this question if you wanna reply there:

The rotards week end is just a few days away. Are you going to make it? Bring a table and sell some parts, or just hang out, have some BBQ, tell some stories about your rotard-mobile, and meet good people.

Bring a chair if you want to sit and beverage of your choice.

On another related event.

The business has expanded. The Madison Street event-site will soon become only a storage site. In the past the event site was where rotarted work was done.

Faced with eviction, a compromise was reached with the landlord. The cars will be allowed to be stored there but no repairs may be done there.

Because repair work at the Madison street shop can no longer be done, another shop is now open to do rotarded repairs. The new shop is 20 miles south, in Albany. A new lease was signed last night. Robert and Kevin have been moving tools and parts and cars today to the new shop.

Life is good.
