I wish I could come! It's killin' me knowin' you all are hangin' out messin' with your cars RIGHT NOW! Maybe tomorrow, but I doubt it. I'd love to help increase the FB number. I have to say though, I am a little intimidated by being around so many people who know a lot about their cars and I'm a total rookie with only 6 months of rotary ownership.

 

Well what a great turnout we had today!!! Thanks to all who made it. I think there must have been 20+ cars at one time. You guys had me runnin there for a bit. I hope I made a difference on some of those I tuned on a little.


We are planning on driving Hwy, 214 tomorrrow, it goes through Silverton and Silver Falls State park, and comes out in Stayton. Its about a 1.5 hour drive with some nice twisty windy turns!!
Maybe leave around 3 or so after some BBQ. Should be another fun day!!
Hope to see some of ya there again tomorrow.

After reading every post in this thread, I'm rubbing my eyes in disbelief. It's so cool to hear that RX-7 owners in the area are willing to share knowledge and talent so freely. If I can make it tomorrow I will. I've got so many ?'s about how my car is running, what I can do to maximize it's current potential, how to fix that damn oil leak, etc. Any plans of having another weekend like this any time this summer? I would love some help. I don't want a hand-out, just a hand-up.

Pictures may be more or less flattering than in person. These ARE used items. The header has some small dents, but, no rust and the rear flange has been cut off (I still have the flange). Intake is dirty and can be cleaned up, otherwise in excellent condition. The strut bar has a few scratches on it, but, it's straight and true. Holley has been rebuilt less than 2 months ago, needs choke vac port plugged. The mufflers are welded together, but, easily seperated and sounded great when removed.

3 x 3" 180* 4" radius mandrel bend exhaust pipe - $20 each
1 x 3" 90* 4" radius mandrel bend exhaust pipe - $20
Magnaflow in-line round muffler for 2.25" exhaust - $40
