Doors open at noon...
Bull **** until it's late if there's people into it, or end at 4 pm if no one shows up.
Food and drink are dynamic, so eat/drink if it's there.

So, what do you think needs to be on the agenda (and is realistic)?

What pain points do you have with your car that could be addressed?

I wouldn't mind discussing ignition options... I'm running 8-9 psi of boost on a locked distributor with stock ignitors and coils.. I'm looking at either going MSD ignition and coils (not sure how many ignition boxes) or DLIDFIS (i've got enough ignitors, just need coil suggestions).

Maybe we could plan a cruise or such for the afternoon. Maybe out through West Salem.. plenty of switch-back corners up there.

You think that first gen feels a little incompitant,lol........ I would feel a little insecure about that race track the moment those third gens all rolled up next to me.....lmao....

You don't know what's lurking under the hood

Although I KNOW I could kick ANY 3rd Gen's ***!!!!

Just to clarify a couple assumptions
1) Someone will NEED to bring a BBQ (I can bring a little camp one if needed)
2) If you don’t want to stand all day, bring your own chairs
3) Beer is OK (BYOB)... getting drunk is NOT OK
4) There will be NO DYNO, although plenty of HP exaggeration stories (I might throw a few out there)
5) If you start becoming an A$$, you will probably be asked to leave
6) All together, should be a GREAT time!!!

Sound about right???

Very good summary. Thank you beargogerrr.

I guess I've never seen a rotary powered rig set up for cooking, tailgate party style.

Check this thread in the morning of the event to see if you (or anyone else) should bring a cook stove/bbq or not. I may be able to round one up but nothing concrete yet.

If one plans to partake in alcohol, please have a designated driver.

Anyone wanna give me a hand on my carb? I'm running a bit rich, and I'm wanting MECH Secoundarys. Also intrested in 2gclfis, or DLIDFIS not to do that day, but just what I need and what to cut. I also have some questions about a random plug/sensor on the engine. Also if anyones selling a set of decent headers for a 12A hit me up I'll be the one with the beater *** FB

BTW I'll be there both days. I'm bringing HOTDOGS & BUNS, or shall I bring potato salid or somthing?

BTW Tallbozo, Hows your project coming along. With the roll pan and all. I had to do somthing like it, but a little differnt. It still has some work to go but I've managed to replace my bumper, bumper shocks, and tow hook up with less than a pound of material. I have to figure out somthing for my middle licence plate section, as far as lights go.

You should get an optima redtop. I'm going to get one for the FB ASAP. I've been a long time fan of optima, but recently my neighbors Bronco V8 alternator sized. He drove that **** forever before getting around to the alternator. still used all his accessories with no issues either Subs and all. Even when he "got around to it" it still started right up. Not saying don't figure out whats wrong and fix it just letting you know how to get by until you do. There pricey though.

I use to work at a shop that made race cars from ground up, We built the whole damn car from chrome alloy tubing. Basically NASCAR type race cars. But they left the shop running ready to race. They didn't run an alternator, just optima redtops.
