Rims Question.
So I have a '89 GXL and was wondering if the previous generation Mazda 3 stock rims will fit on the 7. I've searched everywhere and can't for the life of me find out what the bolt pattern is on the 3's rims, so I'm not sure. These are the rims I am talking about. I really like the way they look and with a nice powder coating on them they could be really good rims for not alot of dough.

Not to sound like a jackass( because I'll know what it stands for as soon as I see it ) but what do you mean by check the ET? What does ET stand for? And I was thinking they were 5x114.3 also, just can't find the specs anywhere. Probably because the idea just occurred to me and I'm a little too buzzed to do an in depth google search. lol

I'm guessing they are either 7 or 7.5 wide. If so something around a 40mm offset should work. If it wouldn't it would be very close.

i think they have a 53 offset which means you will need spacers.
i had a set from a mazda 6, and i need them, but you should also
change out your front studs to make them longer and safer when using
spacers. the back should be fine from what i have read.
FYI at the local autocross a guy didnt use longer studs, and his wheel popped of
during his run. his car skid about 50 feet, imagine that going 60-70.

had a strut/ hub bolted to a tII wheel saturday 205 55 16 tire "stock size" and had about 1/4 inch between the tire side wall and spring mount on the strut. any more side wall bulge and it would have hit

just an example. with a higher off set 53mm on the mazda 3 wheel verses 40mm TII or 40mm 15", 13 mm ~ 1/2" the sidewall will be hitting the strut by 1/4" need 13mm or thicker spacer and longer studs this assumes 53mm offset on the mazda 3 wheel
