retiring the SA
Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I want the info. what would cause a SA owner to give up. I have an FB that well, probably should be retired, not the motor but everything else. no joke. its had a rough life. but I love her, and now since I'm not daily driving her I have time to fix her up.

I don't think you just walk away like that, I know how much you love ur rotary car. Is there some other project that you are going to be working on ?
Or is it just time to move one , Like BStrange99 he just put his car up for sale.

So your not giving up on her completly just not DDing it anymore. I've started DDing my T2 while I get some suspention upgrades/much needed drivetrain repairs on the FB. I think I'm going to wait till I find a quiet exhaust before I start driving her alot again. Too much noise. That and I have to figure out DEQ. I need to get a stock exhaust, and a good air pump. I'm going to try and pass with only the airpump and cat, I don't want to rebuild all the emitions crap.
