the resurrection
the other car is waiting for the last few parts to arrive so i decided to do some work on the other project. this was a whole car, then it got parted out hense the mixed matched body parts lol. Its a good thing i have a few shells layin around, i was able to make a dent less body, ugly as all hell but a fresh paint job will fix that. still have to stuff the rear subframe under it but that should be done next week, and damn there were alot of bee's nests through out the frame lol. anywho heres a few pics. i got the wheels from ehime, red bumper is off of a s4 gxl parts car, fenders are off another s4 gxl, and that ecu your looking at is out of my old 5.0 fox body mustang.....

got a new subframe and lsd stuck up under this pos, subframes are a bitch and a half on 20 yr old cars that all tweak different. brakes are all hooked up, wheels are goin to the powder coater to get a nice bronze finish (cars gonna be black so i think it will look sick). mounts and drive line should be here next week and the motor should be in shortley if not same day. oh and these are prolly goin on the motor and a nice cage

well its been a few months with out me touching the car, decided while im on my christmas vacation from work id get some work done. me and a buddy got the clearance issues all sorted out, got power to the car harness now. gonna hook up power to the ecu tomorrow as well as put in the drivline. fill up the fluids, and prey. the thing has brand new tires on it and well i think they need to be destroyed, but i have to figure out the raidiator and clutch cable situation first....grrrr. but the goal for tomorrow is to fire it up, while i watch for fedex to show up i my driveway with the last part for my red car at which point all attention will be on it lol

did some work on the v8 today, rigging up a cable clutch on a hydro car is a pain in the ***. heres a pic of the bracket i made in the garage, had some steel lying around so me and a buddy just kinda hammered down and did some welding lol.
put the dash in also since its all wired up and pedal assembly is in.

picked up some seats for one of these cars anyways, also got my hands on a bigger work space. i just need a throttle cable then the car can drive to my buddys shop where where gonna do the exhaust and roll cage.
i had also got 90% of the interior back in, then rememberd im putting a cage in it and its just gonna be a track *****.....so out it all came lol
