Restaurant suggestions for PDX area?

Hey guys, I need some help looking for a romantic place to grab some food with my girlfriend. I don't mind spending $30ish a plate, but would'nt mind some place that has a view. After using the google machine, it makes me tired sifting through all the different places.

So, 30ish dollars a plate, not including drinks, appetizers, etc.
Romantic
Nice view

Anyone give me some pointers? BTW, she doesn't have much interest in Taco Bell....

$30 a plate, you must be proposing! hehe... anyways, if you like seafood, this is a great place with a great view of downtown http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...h&z=17&iwloc=A

its best to go there in the evening and if you get a table by the window, you're set for something like this

Salty's, cool view of the river, good place to go during sunset.

And the Portland bar/grill on the tenth floor of a high rise, forgot the real name, good luck getting a window table at that place though.

They're also a fancy restuarant just off SW Terwilliger blvd with a super dope view of downtown. On the expensive side though, Chart House Restaurant.

If you are a Costco member, you can get two $50 gift certificates for $80 at Costco.

I believe you speak of the Metropolitan bar and Grill. Went there one time with my sister and her roommates when she lived down in Sellwood. Awesome views of the Willamette and downtown Portland

I actually think he meant Portland City Grill on 30th floor of the US Bank Tower. The food there is good but I'd say its more of a "go for the experience" type of thing (ask specifically for a window table when you make a reservation if you go).
