Rapid Rotors in Kent/Seattle?
This is a cross post from here
Starting to source some parts for my new FD project and was trying to see if anyone one here has dealt with Rapid Rotors out of Kent Washington, a guy named Jeff? I looked around the forum and I could find some posts about Rapid Rotors from about 06-07, but that is five years ago. I'm looking at getting a short block from them/him and just want to make sure he's a legit source.
Thanks,
Ian

I believe Rapid Rotaries was the name before it became Mazda's and More. The previous owner Ken Durkey sold the shop to a transmission/auto service outfit, and they no longer specialize in rotaries. This was at least 4 or 5 years ago.
I would be very leary of sending any shop money, have you contacted Pine Apple racing in Portland? I believe they are about the only shop left., disclaimer I sold my turbo fb years ago, and don't follow along much. Pretty sure about the rapid rotary though.

I have met him once to buy some parts off him. Very nice guy and a rotorhead for sure. I can't vouch for anything beyond that. He is very hard to get a hold of, old school for sure with limited internet access I would assume.
