Radar Detectors!
Hey I just made this wondering how many people use radar detectors in their 7's? Also did you go with the cheap kind or did you spend some money?
Trending Topics
I bought one once... Beeped at everything... Annoying... Didn't signal when cops were around soon enough... Got to know the areas well from driving work vehicles around so much that I just know where to watch out for cops... Better than spending money on those IMO. Plus, I was told by a cop who had been involved in 2 high speed chases with RX7s that as soon as they hit 130 they can't keep up =) lol Not that I would run, just amusing information... He thought they were V8 or V6 powered... Oh gosh that was a funny conversation
i don't like them, they give me a false sence of safety and every one I have ever used has beeped non stop at boggey's, if in fact I do speed I always enter a high alert brain setting where I constantly scan around for police, seems paranoid but has never failed me in 4 years of driving rx7's.
Plus being smart about speeding helps a ton, knowing when and when not to is crutial.

After years of research, I found a Good radar detector (Cobra in my case). And an M1 Laser jammer will keep you out of trouble!!! (in most cases Besides Airplanes) If you know to turn the laser jammer off after you get down to speed. Or you are in more trouble.
Laser jammers are perfectly legal. There is absolutely no legal way for Infrared to be regulated. For Internal Combustion's sake, we, as warm blooded animals, emit infrared radiation. Radar Jammers are another story all together. Active ones are illegal, and passive ones are useless.

True FCC does not control Light waves. Laser jammers work. and yes they are legal. But the police will bust you For Interfearing with the Police equipment when jamming the lazer pro. If they Know you have a jammer for sure. they will pull you over for jamming the gun anyways. NO JOKE
One thing you Dont want to do is jam radar. There is one radar jammer out there that works. but the antenna covers just about the whole bumper. and the Fine is 250k and 10 years in jail.
btw no the (Phazor) lazer radar jammer does not work.. its been tested. its a rip off.. the makers know it, but they cant get sued because the people that get ripped off are buying a product thats (Ilegal). and courts wont waste their time...
