Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington

I'd like to meet some Rotary guys around these parts Seeing as how I am soon to become one of you.

Hit me up some time for beers or a Dyno day, I'd love to meet some of you people.

Thanks

~Jesse

Here's a start: RPNW

Click on 'Calendar' for meeting time and location.

We have a karting event in Feb, and a Tech day at Pineapple in March.

Echoing Jarred...Rotary Power Northwest (RPNW.ORG) is the answer. We have been around for 10 years, incorporated as a non-profit for the last 8 years. The club has been kind of quiet for the last couple seasons but that is changing. We are having at least one social/business meeting and one special event every month. That is not so different from previous years, but now we will make more of an effort to actually let people know what those events are and well in advance of the date, so they can plan to attend. The web site is current and we will be filling in the event calendar starting at our next general membership meeting when we hammer out the schedule.

As of right now, the two solid event dates are February 10th, when we go Karting at Sykart in Tigard, and March 10th, when we have a tech session at Pineapple Racing in Portland, east of the airport. This is in addition to the regular meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at the Round Table Pizza at 10070 SW Barbur in Portland. If you can't make it to the meetings, the best way to stay current is to join our YahooAutos Group at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/rpnw/. The group has an email list, so you can talk to other members and get reminders of upcoming events and other gatherings. We currently have 284 subscribers to the group.

Thanks, I requested membership info, i plan on joining and meeting you guys soon.

Thanks for being so accepting.

Most of the time that I see RX-7's they are when I'm driving and I never get to tell the person that I really like their car.

See you soon fellas.

Thanks

~Jesse

Follow Hwy 217 to the Cedar Hills / Canyon Road Exit.
Heading West after the offramp you should see Fred Meyers. There is a Starbucks located there and if you go on a Fri/Sat night you can't miss it...

I think that's the one they are talking about.

If not, then follow HWY 217 North to HWY 26 West bound.

Take the 185th Exit and head South. Take Left heading North on Evergreen Parkway (First Left at big intersection), and you will see a Barnes and Nobles on the right as well as a Starbucks in the same building...

not to trash on RPNW but the msg board there is really weak. Ive joined it several times in hopes of it changing but i always just get spammed with reply posts about every thread mad and replyed too. Not much help to me in the past 4 years. I hang out Here the most because its local.. also check out www.teamfc3s.org/forum that place is a godsend as well. Ive met alot of guys on here about 4 years ago and we still are friends!! If you want to meet up sometime i live in PDX and my buddy mike works at pineapple racing we could go down and check it out sometime its sweet.
