Portland Area Engine Importers?

im looking to grab up a TII Motor with harness and ECU possibly a tranny if price is decent. Anyone know local shops that import that stuff? i called corksport and Unnatural inc. Looking to spend around 1500 for a good low mile *under 100k* engine.

If you don't mind going a couple hours north, www.dragdriftautox.com in Auburn WA has S4 TII's for a little over $900 right now with transmissions. Don't know what the milage is on them though.

Good luck.. Most of those JDM motors are crap... If you are LUCKY you will get one that doesn't run, but is rebuildable. Then you'll end up spending another 800+ rebuilding it.

Try and find something locally from somebody you can trust... or from an engine that you can SEE running. 1500 dollars is a lot of money to blow on something that may or may not be good.

Unless they have a "guaranteed in good working order" clause, stay away from JDM swaps.
