Hey keep me posted on this. Sounds interesting and it will be good to have a solid plan for the club. I've got some ideas to throw in as well...when do you think we should meet?

Hmm so rotary speed nw is another club...perhaps we should be looking into consolidating the local clubs into one and have separate branches or something? like one close to seattle, one close to portland? any thoughts...comments? or is everyone hungry for owning their own clubs?

I think I wanna start my own club. haha

I think we need mplutodh1 to chime in. He's kinda the guy setting up the site/club. It actually encompasses all Mazda specific clubs like the RX7, RX8, Mazda 6, and Mazda 3 forum members. That way we can all come together for meets and stuff. So us POOR (because we constantly FIX our cars) RX7 people can have someone else to buy the BBQ supplies

Once the site is set up it should be a forum much like this but pertaining to local meets and stuff, general chat, and probably car specific stuff too, which we can find here. At least those are my thoughts... Right now they are just seeing what kind of interest there is in the club.

Yeah, I think when things are just getting going, it's best to be as inclusive as possible. No sense turning people away when you need members!

Porsche's PCA and BMW's CCA are both first class organizations, so is Mercedes' club. One thing they provide that makes track days a lot easier to organize is insurance! Tracks love insurance.

It's a lot easier to post one thread where ALL of us can see it than to post it on multiple forums...
