PARC and Hoodoo Drifting Cancelled

So Slayter Gatlin announced yesterday on his and OregonDrift's facebook page that he is shutting down all events and closing up on OregonDrift for good for what he claims are "business decisions" and "nothing personal". A lot of people are very upset and want answers but he's not giving any besides the two listed above. So much for talking the talk and walking the walk. It's hard to "grow Oregons drift scene," when you cut all the drifters legs out from under them.

WOW. Come to pgp, seriously. I just went through 6 tires today. Was only 3 of us on the track, had so much fun. $60 if you are a member. Rain or shine, it's awesome.

It's looking like thats what i'm gonna have to do. I'm currently talking with a few people about starting another drift organization but talk is cheap. And actions speak louder then words so i guess we'll see.

PGP is so far away though, that's the only thing that sucks. But i defineately wanna hit it up sometime soon, especially now. I really need to get my brakes fixed and get some modded knuckles from Justin. My steering angle sucks *****, I think I got the retarded runt of the mazdatrix angle kit litter lol.

When I did my rack spacers, I thought mine sucked too, but I was just hitting the LCA. Do you have wheel spacers? Have you checked if anything is hitting?

My angle is pretty good, but I picked up some driftspeed knuckles I should have installed next week. I will let you know how that goes.

I don't know yet if the next event at PGP is going to be open or invite. It might be best for you to come to a SOM day. So awesome. Once I meet you and find out you are not going to cut off my skin to make a car seat cover I might be able to let you chill at my apartment in Bellevue the night before. Would really shorten the drive day of at least.

Summer tour? You mean the next set of events? Yes, why wouldn't I?

1 inch spacers up front and 1.5 in the rear, lol, i like to be flush and my rims have a crappy offset. I'm rubbing on the chassis a touch but nothing horrible. I want the knuckles because I don't like the angle I'm at right now. I wanna enter backwards with huge clouds of smoke

And who told you about me cutting off peoples faces? It only happened like twice and I wouldn't have done it but the voice in my head wouldn't shut up about how fun it'd be to wear someone elses face and go grocery shopping. I swear, you do something twice and your labeled for the rest of your life as a whack job. So unfair.

Lol, nice.

But seriously, get to pgp. A lot of people that I have talked to that have done PARC, said PGP was much more fun. Was hella dry out there today, and I had some fun smoke screening a celica. I need some dual FC tandem action.

PGP is a lot wider and bigger so I could see why anyone would say that. But it really comes down to cost. It cost me around $100 to get and forth from Hoodoo with my flatbed truck, a little less then $50 to PARC. So if I could get to PGP for around that amount it'd be do-able on a monthly basis... maybe.
