8 years ago went I change my spark plug wireless, I left the main coil wire lose, leaving my wife stranded for half an hour.

Yesterday I change them again. I went for a test drive and two blocks down the street the engine died on me. I pull over and am like really I left it lose again. Yes I did. Lol!!!;-))

Your post count only goes up in certain areas of the forum. It won't make your car any faster, it's a meaningless number so don't worry about it.

Cool

RX-7 confirmed. Hallelujah!
The biggest Mazda news in a decade has arrived. The RX-7 is coming back. The news has come to us from TMR out of Australia. Word has come directly from my friend Nobuhiro Yamamoto who heads the Mazda sports car development and the Skyactiv RE program.

I'm SO excited right now. Enjoy

Hey guys my daily driver hyundai scoop turbo 93 has been giving me starting and stumbling issues again. I bought the car 8 years ago and it it had a 110000 miles, and I did the normal tune-ups (spark plugs, oil filter, oil change, etc) a couple moths later it started stumbling, so I changed the spark plug wired the rotor and the rotor cap and it fixed the problem. The car does consume oil. Right now it's doing about 1 quart a month, even tho I don't drive that far since I live close to work, about 1 mile. One year later, it start to do it again, so I change the spark plug again. Did not use the car for almost one year, but I did start the car and go to the store to keep the battery in good condition, last year I started to use the car as my daily driver and in the summer I had to change the spark plugs again because it started stumbling again, last week the car was giving me a hard time starting I did find that one of the spark plug wires was corroded with white powder also the distributor cap was corroded. So since its been 8 years and I have a 120000 miles now I went ahead and changed the wires, the rotor cap and rotor again and it seems to be running fine. Yesterday the car was stumbling again so I went ahead and changed the spark plugs again and the car is running perfect again, now the coil is still the factory one. My question is do you guys think that a weak coil is ruining my spark plugs or that the oil burning is making my spark plug go bad!

I figure I am going to change the coil next since it is cheap only $60, but I am curies to know why I am going try so many spark plugs so quickly?

So any feedback will be nice for a learning experience

you ever change your fuel filter? my buddies subaru had weird problems like that just to find out his fuel filter was getting clogged and after sitting a while the crap would settle and then run fine for a bit. he went through coils, plugs, wires, distributors, cap n rotors. everything seemed to fix it for a bit then the car would crap out again.not saying this is the problem, but it could help.
