Nnnnooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well crap, i blew up my engine tonight..... No more purple pounder for a while.....

Here is how i am looking at it....... Time for a 13b-t swap..... Any tips, advise, comments???

I also am SERIOUSLY thinking about the "go big or go home" mindset, and thinking about a 20b swap, but i am REALLY unfamilliar with those engine and dont know what the benifits and down sides to installing one(and yes i know a **** LOAD of fabing will be required).....

Thumbs up Go big or go home

Joe,

I've got a bridge ported 13b, ready and waiting.

If you want to get serious, I've got two or three 20b's.

One was completely installed and running in my lambo'd FC. It was being tuned on the dyno, by Steve Kahn of Gothum Racing, when it ate an apex seal which destroyed the front rotor and rotor housing.

I suppose it really depends on what you intend to do with the car, that may shed some light on what direction to go. 20b with throw off the car's natural balance and increase the car's moment of inertia. However, if you plan on drag racing, who cares, right? Then it might be worth all the work!

I think this would be a great option for a street/autox car with power available at such low RPMs in such a light, balanced car.

i had a really good amount of gas constantly being poored into the engine, and it flooded and fouled, posted this at night when i had just towed it home, and tried to get it to fire up again, and when it did it was only running on one part of the engine, the rear rotor was all it had...Chris shows and points out the problem, cleans my plugs, re adjusts the float and saves the day...Meanwhile i feel like an idiot thinking my engine was dead(i have had a apex blow and it acted just like that though).....
