Newb Question!

ok yes im a newb but ya...

how can i tell if i have an lsd or not on my 90 fc gtu

jack up the rear, put it in neutral, and spin a wheel. if the other wheel spins the same direction, lsd. opposite direction, not lsd.

A 90 gtu does not come with lsd from the factory.

but

also in nuetral if u spin a wheel and have someone try to hold the other one still if u can spin one with the other one stationary then it is not an lsd either.

yah just do a burn out n if u leave two tire marks either ur diff locked for a second or u have lsd. or try drifting on a right hand turn, if it doesnt kick out much then no lsd

ok...i lifted up the rear and checked and the wheel both spinned the same direction so YAY lsd...

and then did donuts an hour or so later =D

thats the way to do it, lol. now u gotta figure out if its just a one-way or is it a 1.5 or 2. . .? prob just a 1 way but u have lsd n thats muy bueno

the Rx7 Stock LSD usually has a TAG on the Bolt on the Rear where you fill the Differential with Fluid...Says"use LSD type fluid only".

mine doesnt say that, then again mine is covered by years n years of a thick layer of oil, dirt n all other sorts of fun stuff.
