An update.

Here's why the track is in Grass Valley.

I'm bringing my Victoracer 710s for a few fun runs, but will mostly be running with the RE-01Rs that are on right now. Will kill them off and get a set of Nitto NT05s.

What group? I'm in Group 3, that weekend is going to be so fun. Will be sleeping in the truck camper with the dog though.

I hear that, no rain!

Weekend was sick! This ORP track is intense! Lots of high speed blind crests and corners. Towards the end of the day I was finally starting to get comfortable and had a 80% handle on the track. The final session was canceled due to someone laying down coolant on the track. And only one accident, a Lotus Elise Exige went into the wall on the front straight after blowing the last corner.

More pictures later once I can find my damn download cable for my camera.

Yeah and sadly it was holding me up the whole time I was behind him. Really nice guy though, used to be a head designer for Ford back in the day.

Moar!

The second picture is deceptive, but the whole corner is off camber, pucker factor.

Oh wow! They took down the barn! That was a cool landmark, but it was a hazard as it stood.

They have the curbing up and painted now.

And they have 92 octane fuel available on location now! $4 a gallon, but at the same time it saves you on not having to drive to a fuel station.

Looked cool, would not want to drive through it though.

There's still a few more events this year, I believe the track will be open up to the end of this month. Palotav has a Sunday event on the 27th of Sept. Dooo it!
