this car is way neat:
not too fast. short gearing and a peppy little engine like in a 1st gen. factory understeer is kind of lame. gotta upgrade the suspension a bit, but all in all it's a pretty straight quick little car.
redlines at liek 7200, too. uh oh do i smell seal chatter? jk ;p

i wouldn't mind it being a bit more neutral. the front really does plow.
the suspension is totally shot anyway, so i need new stuff so i don't float on the freeway.

Same motor that was modified for Formula Atlantics! There are lots of go fast parts available for those little cars, adn some serious horsepower if you have deep pockets. I test drove one once, and they are truly tiny cars - dont really fit my 6'1", 255 pound body!

Good buy! Those cars are classic. Some simple suspension upgrades and a proper alignment will transform the handling. Not much power with the non-supercharged 4AG and they do weigh more than the AE86 with the same engine, but they are more than enough for most any driver.

Oki is good. Twice the heat and twice the humidity of Seattle. So far no typhoons have plowed into here. Unlike last year. They're always a good reason to get some free time off of work. Gotta love it. Got an '89 infini III and I am slowly building it up. It's a dead ringer for my last FC except this one has a aftermarket front bumper.....and a non-smudged up door. Right now it's still pretty much stock. I do gymkhana every month so I'll be focusing on suspension. I'm keeping the A/C in it this time around.
I also have a '91 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R. It's slightly hooked up. Right now I can't decide if I want to build it up a bit more or sell it. There is this Suzuki Cappuccino with a bridgeported/carbed 13B shoehorned into it that is just waiting in this shop for the right buyer. It's tempting.
AW11's? I've only seen a handful since I've been back. My '89 is practically considered to be an antique. I'd love to hunt some parts down, but they're rare.

Cool. Will do, but don't hold your breath. I've seen one on the road in ages, let alone any junkyards.
