Ouch as much as i hate to see 7's hurt as badly as that. A TII just pains me so, but at the same time that would be well deserved. But not to start a hate/flame thread

i like your car kinda looks like nascar lol..
imagine if rotory's were in nascar kinda like when nissan skylines were banned from bathurst in ausie

You can only run a 2 rotor engine and all the cars have to be N/A. No internal mods are allowed with the rotary. You can either run a 500cfm Holley or stock fuel injection. Those rules are subject to TECH but there isn't much teching going on. I'm running a pure stock engine from an '87 GXL with 80,000 miles. The car is an
'89 so I'm using all the '89 components like intake and injection but with an '87 engine. I have an RTEK box but haven't tuned yet. The exhaust is a modified RB header with duals almost all the way back.
The suspension is almost unlimited. I'm running some of ISC's suspension.
It's a fast car but down on power compared to all the built VWs, Hondas,Nissans with unlimited porting and valvetrain rules. My minimum weight is 2400lbs with driver and those Rabbits are around 1950lbs.

FOZZY GTUs
Hey man I signed up because I can't stop thinking about how to make a Gen One RX work at Evergreen... Kris and I talked about it today and I think it would be cool.
I think a full rear end swap wouldn't be that big of a deal if the whole rear carrier could be fabbed and hung from the cage. Who knows. I wonder if a LSD Solid axle would be competitve also... I have this new theory that a RX solid axle would be better than a Mustang because the Fords are all on Leaf Springs? Plus RX's have a tri-link... and a pan hard bar? Maybe could take the stock axle and hook it up like the Legend?

I love the way he thinks!!! ^^^ If you need a hand with anything let me know, i may be of assistance. Last time i was racing out at evergreen the classes i was going to be in wouldnt allow 7's or else i would have been doing that. But then again that was back when i was working a wrecking yard and we always had 7's just chillin around with all the goodies!

Fozzy didn't ressurect the GTUs... I could not beleive he got the car in that condition. It was immaculate. The dude who had it had went to the dealer and replaced things like the shift **** etc. The inside was flawless for the most part and the body was straight as an arrow and clean just needed a fresh paint job.
It was a shame but I have to say it was fun to help tear that car limb from limb and watch everyone crawl out of their skin and make death threats. At the end of the day it is just a car and I do think it enjoy's its life better now than before. It is doing what the Japenese intended.... RACING!

I think this is great! Finally someone using the GTU as it was intended. And doing it with all the safety gear in place, keeping it on a track. Dude, it's glorious.
Not my style, but still.... props.

The start of the new season is just around the corner and it should be a good one. I'm hoping that some of the guys from the forum will make their way out and catch a race to see what it's all about. Text me some time and you can come back see the car.
