I like spscc, I liked it enough that I decided to go there rather than going to centralia college when I literally lived across the street from centralia college (actually I went to spscc because centralia didn't offer courses of study I was interested in.)

Hey Marc RX7 looks good man...Cars been thru alot hahaha...But anyways ive got couple more mods I have to do with my Z and hopefully by summer time maybe we can go up to Carb Connection and get a dyno tune/Run...
lacey park apts? i think thats there name. off of college?
by the way guys. my ******* motor blew up in reverse today. it was built by lopy at "import auto center".....hes a sack of ****. ive had nothing but problems related to his work since day one. O-ring from oil pump through front cover slipped upon assemble or he used the wrong one...b/c my max oil press was 35 psi (this is with a 90psi RB reg) until i pulled it apart, found remains of o ring, and replaced with proper one the right way. anyway. it runs but rear rotor has 30-30-90....so im out till summer. WOOT

My buddy had his supra engine built there..lopie did some oil mods and when he fired up the engine he has some much oil pressure it caused some serious damage(wasn't there can't remember what all damage he said). I will say, that when I started my engine i had only 11 psi of oil pressure at idle, and 4k rpm i had like 35psi. This is with the stock gauge, an auto meter gauge, and a manual one tapped into the block. HE said this was normal! And he also told me that the FSM is wrong. yea whatever pal. I fixed the problem by pulling off the front cover and replacing the seal from the front cover to iron from oil pump, theres an o-ring that upon assembly he either let slip or placed the wrong one there.
Anyway. I drove the car to school yesterday and when i backed up into my parking spot i felt it let go. I didn't boost the whole way there.
Setup.
-13B, solid corner seals, 90 psi regulator, mazda factor 2mm seals
-garret gt 32, 550 primaries, 1000cc secondaries, walbro 255
-Haltech E6k AFR's tuned with Innovative wideband.
I was running 11.1 AFR under boost in 4th. Running off my turbosmart wastegate spring, saw depending on conditions about 11.7 psi max most of the type 10psi +/- 1psi. And stock base map timing. Motor was fine from my end. I've had nothing but problems since he touched it.
Oh well this summer I'll be back stronger. I'm thinking a half bridge and a bigger snail. Or maybe just a good street ported pineapple with my same setup. The car pulled when it ran. When it had strong compression i said 90 psi on both rotors all the way around. I love the turbo, i got it from Dave at Speed Machine Performance. It has great response and pulls all the way.

Hey guys, I'm pulling the engine out this weekend. I'm going to have Dave at Speed Machine Performance build me a engine I think. I'm debating between him and the other Dave and Pineapple. Pineapple is persuasive because I know Dave does great work and is experienced on top of the fact that hes close to home! Although Dave at SMP is a great guy and I'm a fan of his work. Anyway I'm just gonna do another street ported engine. Although this time its going to be built to last more than 10k. hahah.
I would recommend against going bridge just for longevities sake. Go with a decent streetport and a bigger turbo. After you get over the pain in the wallet of building these engines then it just gets annoying!
yea i hear yea man. That gt32 will put down 400rwhp easy though. thats by no means a small turbo. bigger sometimes isn't always better...a turbo capabale of 500 hp isnt necessarily a good street turbo in my opinion. it all depends on the driver's preference
ie the powerband they want, the boost they want to run, etc.
Although, who doesnt want more power? hahha

I wasn't trying to be a dick with that previous post either....caught me early in the morning. hahha. anyway. i would love to have a bigger snail. but dave and SMP told me that gt32 will do 400rwhp all day long reliably. The thing that sux is im going to have to send it out b/c im sure the turbine wheel ate some apex seal. damn't!!! today is my birfday! all rotary gifts welcomed! hahahha. have a g day guys
