My Olympia RX-7

Hey guys, well I just thought I'd post pics of my car. I've had it since 2000, its a 1986 GXL/TII fully built and converted by me (money pit let me tell ya). Anywho I've seen quite a bit of RX-7's around and I always try to wave. I need to get over to Izzy's one of these times you guys are meeting up (tonight didnt work out for me). Anyway here's some pics.

Do you go to SPSCC? I think I have seen your car on campus.
I would tell you to go with the front mount. It will be less time, money, and modification.

Yup I got to spscc. Yea, ive been leaning towards a fmic mainly just b/c of the $$ factor. I can keep the stock fan and shroud which cools great. Ill just have to hack my bumper a bit .My buddy had cooling issues at first with his fmic. I'm thinking a bout a core and a piping kit and just cut to fit or saving for the greddy kit.

I used to park in the same lot. Nice car btw. I have the red sport model. -Turbo, with a FMIC. I'd definatly reccomend the FMIC, works extremly well!

It's a full TII conversion. I chose the sport model because its the lightest 2nd gen available. Even the carpet has less sound deadening.

Maybe I will hit you up on campus sometime to check out your ride more instead of admiring it in passing. I am usually parked in front of building 34. I don't have a 7 at the moment. I have a Blue 87' Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon that usually has evidence of the number of kids I have LOL! My wagon looks like I live it pretty much with all the stuff that ends up in it!

nice man! we need to go for a cruise sometime. Maybe up to the satsop nuclear towers or something? Are you running the stock turbo? The stock turbo was great for me for awhile but I upgraded to a bigger setup...having a wastegate that works is go nice. Before with the stocker ( I ported it bigger too) I would see anywhere from 7 to 15 psi depending on gear and weather. Not goooood.

yeah the avatar pic is of me and I got the beard growing back so I should be easy to spot. Unfortunately I wont be back on campus much because of finals schedule and I wont be back until fall quarter (hopefully they have better class schedules by then!).
riede I remember seeing your car on campus a bunch a few years back and I always drooled over it (well around it actually LOL!). It was the forest green FD right?

I haven't noticed it being like evergreen at all. All the women at spscc appear to care about personal grooming.
I like spscc, I liked it enough that I decided to go there rather than going to centralia college when I literally lived across the street from centralia college (actually I went to spscc because centralia didn't offer courses of study I was interested in.)

Nah, its never been to SPS yet...soon though. It is MB though. Right now I'm finishing up paying for the single turbo and such. Just need it to be tuned now.

guess I was mistaken about yours. Anyways, there was a forest green one that I saw on campus quite often a while back.
