Corners I cut, Well i didnt check Specs on everything. I didnt check eshaft oil holes for blockage. Not likely. But i prolly should have. I didnt replace rotor bearings. i didnt lap the irons. i reused the side seals. Just many small things. its a cost issue really. I basicly have one step up from a floor sweeper.

Well i found that its the trans making the noise. So its not the engine.. the thing is this NA pulls hard now. Took 2k miles for it to break in.. but it pulls hard for an NA.. I dont know why.. But i guess the trans does not like it.

Glad to hear it's only the transmission making the noise... Rebuild the transmission now! Haha - I'm sure that's "fun". Used transmissions aren't too pricey.

Update on my engine. And for all that rebuild their own rotary engine,
Finally after 2,000 miles My engine starts Right up warm and cold. and idles perfect.
It took 2,000 miles. Note used housings and irons.
If all new parts should not take that long. But with used parts It will take a long time for things to wear down so its worn in. You will have hard starts cold and hot till an engine breaks in .

Those oil control rings can be tricky. I once built an engine and some how the rotors got swapped front to rear after installing the seals and rings to them. I assembled it and it smoked like crazy. Had to open er up and move them around. Glad you got it right the first go around.
