You'll see them on the car before too long Derek, they are ordered and should be on the car by this weekend. :p
Think they will be mounted on Friday if we get the car running Thursday night. Speaking of which, wanna come help?

Today I was down at FD3S Engineering again tearing apart the calipers, got a lot of work left to do on the car tonight for some other things as well. I just bolted the drivers seat back in place too.
Tearing down the old baddies:
Popped all of the old seals out with a flat-head, rather simple to do:
The new bad boys:
New seals in place:
Then cleaned, prepped, and painted the calipers black:

Well! First of all, Army --- what rims are you refering to? The rims we bought are stock fitment, 40 offset, 5x114...
Just 16x7 instead of the 15's on it.
Derek ---- we just did the fronts, the rears should still be good, but the GXL ones were just a little leaky when we took them apart.
Lot's done today, the car DOES run! But she still has some electrical issues as well as the brakes still need to be actually put on her before she will leave the driveway.
Let the picture whoring begin! Some pics taken by me, some by mom... Just specifying because you can see me in some of them. Also, I do have videos of her running, but I'm too lazy to put them on here.
Ok!
Started off the day by going to Pineapple Racing, got there early... apparently... and once we had our gasket we were off for the house again to work!
When I got home I had a couple of minutes before Marc arrived, so I spent the time actually cleaning the ACV system for making sure that it will pass emissions.
After Marc got here we started replacing all of the old parts, first starting with the waterpump:
Got all of the old gaskets off of the manifolds
After all of that was cleaned and scrapped off, which you can see me working on here:
Next was getting the sleeves back into the actuators:
Next came the primary injectors:
Various pics of putting the block back together
Got her up on the hoist again
Moving her into place:

In-place finally:
More manifolds coming together finally:
Coolant:
After we hit this point she was pretty much almost ready to run, but it wouldn't turn over, we found out that we weren't getting power to the fuel pump, so we ran some ghetto wire from the pump to the battery and finally got her started! That video is on my facebook and if requested I can post it.
She fired right up, and aside from not holding a steady idle yet, she runs perfectly fine.
And finally how she sits for now, in the driveway, almost ready to hit the road tomorrow!

Yes that's ehime's old car, the engine in it was a Mazda reman, ran beautifully last night once we got her in.
Anyway, we got the brakes onto the car:
A friend of mine who also drives Mazda came over and she wanted to wrench on it, she does her own work on her stuff too. :p
Side-view, sexy ain't it? :p
Now onto bleeding the brake system and getting it all running correctly.

So... we get down to bleeding the system, and we get the front left caliper just fine, but the line is busted for the front right. We can't order a replacement and therefore go and have a custom one made at a shop.
Guess what? That one is leaking too.
So I'm thinking it's something else causing the problem of it. I started work on the car at 7am, and by 3pm I just said screw it... and had it towed along with my car that is currently down as well due to clutch issues down to FD3S Engineering in Beaverton, OR.
Here she is on the tow truck with my car in tow behind:

Okay so the last while has been riddled with problems and crazy situations with the car.
We ended up having to replace...
- The 4 piston calipers we had
- all 20 wheel studs
- wheel bearings
- gas tank
- various other bits I may be forgetting.
But! The car runs, drives, stops, and is on the road!
Here she is at FD3S getting some last minute final touches done to her...
And then I didn't really have much time to take pics of her, because it was dark by the time she was fully test driven and completed. There is still a pagelong list of things that need to be done. But she drives!
Here she is at IHOP, her first stop aside from dropping things off at home first, hadn't eaten all day... time for some food!!
More updates as I work on her this following week.

And if it had a headliner in it, I still got it. The car is up on jackstands on my driveway, just pulling everything off of it most likely this week and then was going to either scrap it or see if anyone wanted a no-sunroof shell with frame damage for cheap. :p

Close though. Aaron. haha
Anyway, was driving the car for a bit and have been tracking down sounds for QUITE a while and piecing the interior together... here's some photos of her around town and in places.
She snapped an alt belt the other day, which that part is in tomorrow, going to go pick it up and then get to work on her again. She should be running strong again by tomorrow! If another one snaps, time to invest in a pulley kit. haha
And no, the Honda in this next pic isn't mine, or anyone in my families. It's a friends. :p

This is all unless I'm horribly mistaken and somehow you have the same exact front yard as someone else that I have been to...Yeah, sorry to come off as creepy or something.

Ah, so I assume you were the one that was here while I wasn't at home?
I haven't been in contact with Zach for a while now, and we haven't seen the 40 for the spoiler either. I was pulling it off tomorrow to sell it to someone else in fact because he hasn't come for it yet.

Le sigh...Yeah, I have been there a few times. As I live in Beaverton and he lives wherever, we don't see each other much. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could hold on to the spoiler for another day or two so I can get a chance to get in touch with him about it. Aaron then? It's nice to meet you (sort of meeting that is.) I'm John.

Any chance you'll be awake for another couple of hours? I'll drive out there right now with cash just to get it myself...I'd suggest during the day but I work all day.
