My build thread

Hey all. I've been around here for a while, but haven't really posted my FC. So here she is.

Back in 2004 I bought a 1991 brave blue NA 2+2. Super excited about this car too.

About a year later, the car looked like this

Just after I got my BBS rims.

Last summer, I got sick + tired of having an exhaust leak, + a 190k motor with the original build. She still ran strong, but I didn't want her to blow. So I found a turbo swap package for pretty cheap from a guy in Tacoma.

Literally the day after I did the swap, there was a german car drive to leavenworth. I really wanted to go to this - I figure it would be an awesome drive to test the motor out on. So I had to do something about the hood... Hence this

Pretty sweet huh?

That's basically how the car sits now.

Engine -
Stock S5 Jspec TII motor + trans
Apexi cone intake
Corksport FMIC kit
Corksport downpipe + test pipe
Apexi dual N1 exhaust
S4 clutch type diff
ACT maxx xtreme pressure plate
ACt 6 puck sprung clutch
ACT prolite xact flywheel (9lbs?)

Suspension -
Tein HE coilovers
Delrin engine, trans, diff, subrame bushings
Poly suspension bushings
MMR individual camber adjusters
Mazdatrix camber adjuster bar
Por15 painted rear subframe, diff + front control arms

BBS rx wheels
toyo proxes t1s 245/45/15 front + rear

Gutted interior
Momo start diver's seat
C's short shifter
Prosport gauges
RE-Amemiya rear wing
RE-Amemiya mirrors

Some more pics of the painted parts. My computer crashed so I don't have many pics of her.

Things to come -
Devil's own meth injection kit
Paint!
RE-Amemiya rear diffuser w vortex generators
(Things I don't have yet)-
BNR stock hybrid turbo
Harness bar
6 pt harness
Redone intercooler piping or VMIC
Rebuilt motor with S5 NA rotors, street port, maybe some Ti bits
Rtek 2.1 chip + dyno tune

That is all. Enjoy.

Yeah I did them a while ago. I'm just thinking ahead for next time. I think I have a year left.

I'm still trying to find an aluminum NA hood in this state. Every time I find one I have no damn money Sucks.

They aren't that bright. Somehow they look really bright in pics. But not so much in real life.

They're street tires/rims. On a car that won't be on the street much longer. So it's as serious as that.
