hwy 20 drive sat 10/2

I'm planning a hwy 20 drive this sat. So far it's just me + a few friends. I think we're gunna meet at the everett mall around 10 or 11.

Also, I don't have a good rout to go up north to get to 20 other than I5 (yay......) so even if you can't go, + you know of a good rout, post up or PM me.

Here's the facebook event.

I would go if I wasn't working a 10 hr day. I get off at 5:30. Let me know if you guys will be around that late. I work at the Office Depot up here but live in Sedro Woolley now.

Are you doing the full loop or just to Winthrop and back?

If you're doing the full loop, I'd recommend going east on H-2 to Wenatchee, then north on H-97 to H-153, H-20 east to H-530, then I-5 back to Everett. I did this loop a few weeks back, and there's less traffic going counter-clockwise...I practically had the entire H-20 to myself from Winthrop to the Diablo Lake area.

If you're just doing H-20 to Winthrop and back, I'd do I-5, H-530, then H-20.

H-9 north of Arlington is also nice, you can get on H-20 at Sedro-Woolley or try S. Skagit Highway.

Have a good drive.

According to the book destination highway, it's the best road in wa. Pretty twisty, road is well kept, nice scenery too.
