I would vote for something new. All of the events sound fun though.

Here is St Helen's 2 years ago.

I think that there should be another Helen's run. I would be in for that in the summer some time. I would have an open seat for filming too

I'd be game for another trip to St. Helens in the future. Definatly need to make sure the roads are not closed prior to going. I need to finish my camera mount before the trip!

Once the dry warm asphalt starts appearing, so will the ideas and drives... Planning a few solid events is a great idea.. and obviously there are a few in the works... ABF is definitely going to be the top turn out in the region... but it seems that loading up the days with impromptu drive last summer really got me through the season last year.... Get yourself a buddy list on your cell... and just come up with ideas and dates and post em up! Some of the best drives ive been on were on the fly with a few close friends.... BUT i will offer one more MUST do....

SSXI

http://www.sevenstock.org/
(yes this link is for SSX, i know)

The best driving, hands down, on the west coast can be found in LA county... coupled with a road trip of epic proportions...there are so many touge roads to run in that area... its just stupid....

Also look out for Kris and the TWR drive series as well... very fun stuff!
http://www.the-winding-road.com/

Also keep your eyes peeled for local South Sound Sunday drivers runs... these were a blast last year.

Hope to see you ABF disco.... should be a blast... ill be the one with the un-cool car.

Not really... and that includes RX7 owners that show up to meets. So good luck getting a meet north of King County, more specifically Seattle. Good roads are in King County for sure

The Road is still washed out at Barlow pass so you can only go half way, And would not recomened going past there even if you could because it goes to gravel. I had fun doing some WRC type stuff up there when I still had My Subie, but Tim is right not much other than that. Big IV-Ice caves is kinda cool, but I don't know if they replaced the bridge it washed out last winter... So if we did that hike we would have to walk through about 1' deep water, provided we do it in August... The only other thing up there is Monte Cristo but that is about 5 miles in so too much to walk... If you really want to do a Sonhomish meet my suggestion would be to meet in Monroe and then Drive down the Valley to Snoqualmie Falls... just an idea. Good Luck planning a meet up north.

On a different note, does anyone have a map of the route that was driven on the last Helens run?

I was always under the impression the Mt. St. Helens run was an annual thing...I couldn't make it the past year but I made the prior. Its a really fun run with the huge wide highway and lack of cops.

I also like the BSCC cuz I visit Port Orchard often too...I'll keep up with this to see when I can meet up with you guys again.
