Wassup everyone? I have a I idea. Who is down with making a meet for us WA Rx7 owners in May (when the weather is pretty good). Does anyone have any suggestions to potential locations. Lets hear some ideas.

Im new to this area so there are no dumb ideas. As far as the picinic though, Im down for that. I'd like to have something big so everyone in WA can get aqauinted. Im used to being part of big meets.

We can have it somewhere where there is alot of parking spaces, a grill, and located where its not too far for everyone.

So far we have... location:
1. Mt. St Helens Summit

Throw something out everyone, we can turn this out to be big!

I really like the idea about Mt. St Helens. Would be a fun drive and chance to meet other people for the few who didn't sign up for Apple Blossom.

How about May 25 at the BSCC autox practice day. Low-key event, time for socializing and even better, time for driving!

If you do the Mt. St. Helens run, check with the USFS to make sure the road is open, that last trip would have been a lot better if we could have hit the additional 30 miles of twisty fun. We could also start it in Tacoma or Fed Way and take Hwy 7 down to Morton for a little more engaging driving experience.

I think i have 56 people signed up or so. Some coming but not signed up. Id (we) would love to come over to the west side for another BBQ this year. You guys didnt have one last summer.

I know that some cant make it to Apple Blossom cause it is a ways away. The nice thing about Apple blossom is that its half way for all the West siders, East siders, and all the Central people, so gives us all a chance to meet everyone from the whole WA state, including BC.

3. BSCC autox practice day

I checked into the Apple Blossom event and the cutoff was March 25 so Im not sure how many people will be able to do that. The Mt. St. Helens looks pretty good, IMO. Lets see what we can come up with by the end of the week. Thanks for the input already everyone!

It depends on how late you would accept someone. I don't have enough money at the moment but would love to come. I have to wait for tax returns.

Just come and will work some sorta something out. Im sure someone has a floor you could sleep on to save some money just so you could come.

If you email me at strawburbr@msn.com and tell me your phone number, Ill give you a call and again we could work something out if you really wanna come. I know gas prices are a killer right now, and everyones on a tight budget, but well worth the trip.

Something Tells me that if I did not show up to the wedding my Wife (Fiance) would pretty much kill me.

I like the Idea since it would be close to me... however it is kinda cliche to use the same location as another major NW club. I think that the Helens idea is good, I am planning to do a drive up to Sunrise at Mt. Rainer some time this summer also, so there is a possibility that we could do something there if other people are interested. Or we could all be really lame and go to the Global import Car show in Tacoma

So anything in may and June is out for me but I will be up for soemthing in July.

We had the bbq at Doug's Lynnwood Mazda last April 7th. It's the largest turnout I've seen for a meet on the west side so far...

Sadly, I will probably be the only one NORTH of Seattle interested in showing up so I pretty much get no say in where or whe this takes place. But if Aaron fixes my PPF soon I my just bring the FD out.

Hey Discokid are those my old wheels and tires on the car? Sure as hell looks like em... Do you live on Whidbey Island?

Hell yeah, they are! Yeah I live on base. Red Rabbit told me you was on here. Im down for any meets, man.

Well this is what we have now everyone

So far we have... location:
1. Mt. St Helens Summit
2. Apple Blossom
3. BSCC autox practice day
4. Golden Gardens

Ok, when get enough people able to commit to these events we can come up with different dates for them that are good for the majority and make them far enough in advance that we can have enough people. Two of them have dates already. As far as for the Mt. St. Helens and Golden Gardens potential meets, Im always used to having a BBQ at meets when I was out in VA, so Im down to bringing hamburgers and hot dogs.

Id also like to get some ideas for a very large meet, something that we can take a big *** picture (just throwin **** out y'all).
