Teet, we are meeting at 10:30 at Apex...Does everyone know where Apex Restoration is located? Hopefully we will get a few more people to show...Blake, are you coming out? Well John says 10:30 but I'll be there by 10 (is that to early for you princess John ) and looking over the route I am hoping that we'll be back by 6 ,very rough estimate. we will be leaving Apex at 11 .

You guys want to BBQ at my place?
I have a grill there, but its a beach house so we would need to bring food/drinks/condements.

Lets get it figured out, Ive got a few bucks I can drop on burgers and buns if you guys want to bring the soda/chips/topings.

 

So I half killed my car on Monday....I was at PIR and thought...geez..the power just doesn't seem to be there....weird. When I was on the revs consistantly around 8, it would get warmer..around 2/3 of the way up the guage. Then I started short shifting around 7 and it was fine. Still low on power....in the pits it had a new cam lobe to the idle! oops. Tested the compressions and the front is very low, while the rear is just above acceptable. ****. I really wanted to get through this year and do something over the winter. Oh well. It still drive ok, just sounds a little shitty on the low end. Maybe I can blow it up on our drive! Yeah baby! Thinnking I might put a RE motor in it. Anyone here ever done that?

Any idea what time we will be getting to the coast? My plan is to drive out, then do a round of golf at Manzanita (one of my favorite golf courses!) before driving back on my own. I'll need to make a tee-time. Anyone else golf?

I will probably have an extra seat in my GSL-SE, if anyone needs/wants a ride.

 

we should be up in Rockaway by 3. that course is sweet.I would love to play but I don't want to hear my clubs rattling around when were slammin the corners my in laws have a house right across the street from the lower portion of the course.I was kind of hoping for a Left Coast Burrito.mmmmmmmmmmmm

 

So what time are were planning on leaving Apex? Is it still 11am, I plan on being there by 10:30, but if we're leaving earlier let me know. The route look good.

 

yep still 11. there is a 3 member coming up from Springfield just for the meet in the morning just to say hi.either he's crazy or dedicated. guess when we meet him we'll know.
