Thumbs down Mazda of Olympia parts department consists of a bunch of morons...

Me: "Hi, looking for turbo gasket that goes between the turbo and the downpipe for a 1990 Mazda RX7 TII..."

Them: "...okay..."

"..."

"..."

"Um, so you're looking for the rectangular gasket that goes between the turbo and the exhaust manifold?..."

Me: "?!?!

...no, it's a circular/triangular gasket that goes between the turbo and the downpipe.."

Them: "I don't see anything like that on my screen sir."

Me: "It's part number 13-4910-N370..."

Them: "..."

Me: "Um, okay...bye..."

(take the above conversation and repeat 25 times)

!!!

Part Number:13-4910-N370

$50+ bucks for a gasket?!?! daaayyyuuum!

thats funny. I love getting parts from the dealer. cause i get things from all different years and they're like "WTF?!?!"

I dont buy from olympia mazda.... Instead I buy parts from university mazda. They have shipped the parts to my home. They also deliver to olympia at Larson enterprises for there custemers. Im just as happy as a bee with them. here is there 800 number 1-800-562-3215. good luck

Perhaps racing beat can beat them for prices. racing beat is an expensive place in some ways. I am going to look on my favorite list now I think I may have a bargin place that can help you.

well I didnt find anything. Tell me do you have an action auto in your area? They have axcess to many supliers....
If any one is interested in knowing. I found oem exaust hangers for rx-7 that are in the 5.00 and below price at car stuff .com later

Wow, I have had nothing but good luck from they.
They also give me a GREAT price on stuff when I use my MazdaComp number.
They key is talking to the two Mazda guys, if you get a Mercury guy...well your shot.

Thanks for the info though, it always seems like I have two of everything, except for the parts that I need...

I like my local mazda parts dealer, I get the hook up on parts (1/3 off) and 1/2 off on labor it works pretty well.

Yeah there are not very many but somtimes they get parts that no one else gets. By the way. Oympia has a parts plus/action auto they are a high volume store they get alot of stuff from north. It sounds like you probly work for the company or somthing... They also may have stores in cali do you know about that. I posted this on a north west forum so it could be helpfull to this area.

Thaaat isn't a part #.

The part #s off MazdaTrix's web site aren't real Mazda Part #s. They sorta are... but not really...

They mix the numbers around a bit. It should be... N370-13-4910 I believe...
