Thanks Michelle, I'll still be around probly at the latest thru the end of January I'm hoping... But we'll see. It all depends on how many interviews and whether the positions available are ones I would take, I'm picky... But if all goes as planned I would like to interview before the Holidays and make my move in January...

The sun is nice, but make sure your A/C is working I heard it was 110+ for four months straight this year.

Or I can not pay that and drive the car to Lakewood at their location and pick it up in Phoenix at their location...
I just had my FD transported from Seattle to Austin, Texas for $1080 in an enclosed trailer. When it was offloaded in Texas I counted 2 ferraris (dino and 355), a porsche cayanne, and a lambo murc as its travelling companions.

I used :
All America Transport
305-532-4659

Ask for Abraham. Tell him I sent ya.

I believe a regular trailer would've been only 675. In hindsight I probably should have gone that route as they are insured for damage that occurs while on the trailer.

Can you imagine the damage my car would endure making that long of a trip? I'd have no paint left... Not to mention I'd have to make frequent stops to refill my coolant... And stop every 280 miles, at most if I'm lucky, for gas...

I would say a prayer if I could get 280 miles from a tank of gas. But yeah the drive to az is not one I would subject the fd to in its current state.

Don't think I could do it in any state.

Still have yet to hear back from any of the companies my resume was sent out too. Just letting my resume and my brother in law and other connections do what they do and we'll see... If nothing else I'll stick around for a while... Thankfully I have a back-up plan.

Youre like the long lost son I never had that loves and appreciates FD's as a true aficionado should. Youre leaving????

I tell you what, you cant drive 2 cars at the same time and it would be expensive employing the other options available to you.

Only one option I see as viable....... Since Im losing a "son" and you are faced with this insurmountable dilemma, I think you should give your "long lost old man" your "baby". Its a win, win, win situation, what more could one ask for! You know she will be cared for, pampered, showered with attention, and all the finest things available will bestowed upon her.

You know how much these finicky autos just hate those blistering hot days, the endless clouds of dust and sand, the bitter cold nights, and what about the scorpions and rattlesnakes crawling around inside their new FD home that is parked outside.

So what do you think? "SON!

hahaha Well Dad, you're advice is much more wise than my REAL Dad's who tells me every day to sell it. But, I will never give up this car... Only if I die, an right now I'm becoming a little skeptical at this point that I'll even be leaving... Not much in the way of developments at this point... I think out of everyone who's asked me to give them my car, you would be at the top of the list, "Dad"...

Tried contacting my bro-in-law today, no reply from him so still no news on the job...

Word is the companies are on a hiring freeze until after the Holidays as I was expecting... I'll know more after the Holidays about my possible relocation. If nothing else I got a For now just enjoy my "vacation" couple of real estate deals I'm working on still up here for next month...

As of this moment it appears I'm not going anywhere... And no it's not cuz I met a GIRL! I'm not a loser It's cuz of the cost of relocation and I'm getting close to making some deals happen in this wonderful buyers' market... There's a possibility I will just look for some temporary work up here, but I'm a really picky bastard! Hence the reason I'm not working part-time right now.

I just said it's not a girl, dude! Seriously... No girl would keep me here unless I was actually involved... And well... I'm not involved! I had 4 girls I asked to marry me and move to AZ, got 3 yes and 1 only if I pick a colder climate like NY or DC lol I'm set!
