i am getting my jspec 13b-t in a week or so and i started thinking that is it even going to be possible to run the jdm ecu with the motor. i mean i no i can run it and the motor will run but will it run normal being that japan has one different elevations and two they have higher octane gas then us anyones input whould b great help.

 

elevation is not a problem, all rx7 from any country have an atmospheric presure sensor under the dash to compensate for elvation changes... id just recodn running premium gas in any turbo rotary. hard part is wiring, the jdm **** is alot diff than the us harnesses...

 

thats not a problem thow with mine my hole entire car wiring is jdm i converted the car to rhd awhile ago and i found out that stupid little plugs were different between US and jdm it was stupid but now the whole car is jdm.

 

ohh ok then that shouldnt be a problem then. is it s4 or s5? out of curiousity. ive got a rare jdm RE-amemiya s5 t2 ecu you know u want to buy!

 

all s5 the car originally started out as an 86 sport edition with 35k original miles i converted the car to rhd and everything has been converted over to jdm s5 for the wiring my plan was to run a jspec 13b-tt but money has become tight so i have that motor up for sale now.
