Intro / Want to rent 2nd gen for a day

I live in Olympia, Washington and have a 1988 Black convertible RX-7
(my brother bought it new in Hawaii). It runs well but has one
nonworking power window and a bad windshield wiper switch -- and boy
do both of these things cost a lot to fix (at least at the dealer).

For my work, we want to rent a white or light colored 2nd generation
RX-7 in the Camas-Washougal area from the evening of Monday, June 26 to
about 5 pm Tuesday, June 27. We primarily plan to photograph it with
very little driving. We will pay what I think is a pretty good amount
for this 24 hour rental. Please contact me for more information
through this site or at my work number 1-800-720-8582.

Thanks for any responses, Tod Monroe

Your power window is most likely just not gettinng a good connection. Takes less than a half hour to fix. Would cost you nothing. Your wiper switch costs about $70 to fix. Both are VERY VERY common second gen problems.

Good luck with your search for a white FC

I'm still looking to rent that light colored RX-7 in the
Portland/Washougal area from Monday evening to 5 p.m. Tuesday. My

I think that you are going to be hard pressed having someone actually GIVE you their car for a day. I don't let ANYONE drive my vehicles. And I have good reason not to.

That being said...good luck

I understand your point. Fortunately for me (and my employment atmosphere) I found one.
