Cool Jun 23rd Fridaynight Drifting at Monroe

Come on out and watch us burn up tires and dodge huge tires. Last event an AE86 crushed the drivers side b pillar and still kept drifting for the night after contacting said tires.
Never know what will happen....
See ya at the track

6-11pm Friday night, Evergreen Speedway, Monroe Wash.

I'm not sure who puts it on but it's like $30 or $35 and you can drift and drag (1/8 mile) if you want, but you have to have a helmet... It's basically become a weekly thing now at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe from what I can tell...

I know the MADDRIFT guys are pretty much the lone crew out there, but I'm not sure if they are part of the sponsorship/staff for the drifting.... But it doesn't really matter cuz it's ALWAYS fun to watch! But we need more 7's out there cuz it's all AE86s and sr20 240s!!

The event is put on with help from TorqueSteers car club, we do alot of club events at Bremerton, no spectators there. Monroe is for the Peeps off the street who want to burn some tires. Tech inspection and wavier on the norm, no leaks allowed on the track so check your car really well before they take a look cus you pay before the inspection with no refund.

Bring a helmet, riders need them too. Gotta enter from the east entrance by the RV park to get onto the track, trailer with signup/waiver/money takers.
See ya!

I love pictures.

They make me look WAAAY better than how I was actually doing.

Contrary to the evidence shown below, I was sucking at life.

Big time.

No consistency WHATSOEVER
+
Retarded-*** line.
+
Coming in waay too hot.
+
Too aggressive turn-ins
+
Smokey smokey=

haha.

NO idea where I was going, which part of the track I was actually on, or what line I was taking.

more:

awesome.

Hehe I lied, actually didn't have friday off, boss kinda changed his mind on giving me the day off.

I got a helmet, does it cost any moneys to be a part of the ride along and watch?

I think you have to pay the $15 to watch and have a helmet to wear... Not sure though...

Weren't really noobs, just no one was consistent and there were a couple of guys that I guess could have been noobs cuz they SUCKED every time... At least while I was there...
