Can't freagin believe it..Actually the MAP specd bad as well as the fuel pump. The thing had several gremlins that stumped us all. The fuel pump came out of a running third gen, so we never tested pressure. Drrr. Oh well...it lives!! hahahhahahahaha

Gremlins? More like Demons. I knew we were in trouble when the intercooler spoke backwards in latin, spun 360 degrees and vomited on the priest. It's not everyday that you troubleshoot a car with multiple, simultaneous failures of components that give similar symptoms, on top of all the other little stuff (big vacuum leak, wrong BAC, mis-set throttle plates, fuel leak). Fun, fun, fun! Runs good now, though...except for your God-forsaken clutch engagement point (1 billionth of an inch off the floor).

Throw away all stock ECU and wiring and get an EMS, Problem solved.

Only if your problem was having too much money in your wallet. As far as I know, there weren't any wiring or ECU problems. The problems were all bad components, leaks, and mis-settings...things that would not fix themselves by throwing an afermarket computer at it.
