I checked this garage out tonight Its in Lynnwood Near 208th area. And its Like a 60s type of garage but it has three bays and it has power But No heat! but it has a bedroom and bathroom. an also dhas a Paint booth with down draft. Not sure if it works. anyone else have a Project they would like to work on while i work on my car? they are only asking 100 a month its fenced in and Looks like a place i would not even tresspass on.if any one else wanted space for a few months its only 50 bucks a month if someone wanted to do work there also, Just a thought

100 bucks for the whole garage. it could be four bays, I didnt walk that far down, Its colder than the north pole in there so i was freazing my *** off going wow but not sure i could work on my car in that temp. However i could plastic the area we are not using, and get some Propane or better yet some Elecrtic Heaters! the guy should not care if i have one more car in there, I can call him and make sure but he said 100 a month, and i have access to the 3 or 4 bays. also has crane ramp on the ceiling for engine crane. but i think some parts are Missing,. He just bought the Property and there is a house farther back but No one is living there right now, So its all private and could even Drink up and party or somthing.

 

Sounds like as good deal! I would hop all over that! Pick up a cheap electric heater al Wally World and you are set!

 

If it were me, I'd raise the rent if you used electric heat. Kerosene or propane would be better for the landlord.

do you have an engine hoist by chance? and some air tools. I am short on air tools, but have most everything else! i guess i could go rent them but if you had a hoist i would not have to run it right back after i get my engine out

 

i might beable to get my hands on a hoist the air is a no though i'll post about the hoist after i make a call tomorrow somone ows me a favor i would just need a truck to move it if it's a yes

if you end up getting this space, would you take cash for just a couple days at a time? i want to paint the bumpers on the mr2 and i have a garage to do mechanical stuff in, but i don't want to get overspray all over the porsche and the mazda.

 

I have a engine hoist and sears compressor+air tools (3/8 and 1/2 drive) that you could borrow.... (but if they get ripped off I would expect that they be replaced...)

I would take it all with me anyways, I dont leave stuff out of my site. but that would be awsome. I think im calling the guy tomorrow and hook up with the guy on monday... after the thanks giving BS is over . I was going to see if my rx 7 would make it to lyynwoon on one rotor like at midnight when there is no traffic,. but if your going to be towing anything after monday let me know, and for the person that wants to do some painting there is a paint booth but im not sure if it works, I think the new owner has no clue Either! FC/DC it sounds to me that you have the starting of a Do It Yourself Auto Repair Business. Just Some thing to think about. See if the guy would go for something like that, get a lease for a year (although month to month would be better) and an option to lease 5 more year and you have the potental for some deasent money. Let the other clubs know what your doing and you'll have a great deal going. Any of you business guys out there help him out with this idea!!!!! Don't forget to check the zoning to see if you can do something like this in that area.

 

its in a housing area, Besides i already have to much going on to start another business. the garage wont be there for more than a year i dont think.. he told me he wants to build new houses on it! so i dont think this is going to be a long term thing

well, can you hook up wid more info? it seems that a few people on here are willing to throw in some kash to rent this place. i figure a few months of rent with everyone will only help everybody that has a project lined up. kinda far, but maybe worth it.

well it looks like im moving to fall city, its east on i-90 about 10 miles Ill have a garage out there.. Im sure i will invite some of you over since i will have more space and stuff.. Nice curvy roads out there just like OLY. Exept i can drive them everyday! i i just hope the cops dont hang out there alot though! or im in big trouble!
