wow that is cool! how expensive is it? saw a site online saying 65-80 a wheel?

the price i get is .75 a sq.inch.

How durable is this? Would you be putting protective coating on top or anything?

Looks like a decal type process...super thin film...pretty cool stuff!

After the item is dipped it would be top coated with clear, just like standard automotive paint. So basically it's as durable as whatever clear coat you put on top of it.

Yes, about 90% of my shops work is in firearms and hunting related items. However, we're always trying to tackle new projects and push the limits of what this particular form of decoration can do. Right now a dude from Seattle brought the the entire dash of his 2 seater plane down to get dipped in CF. Here are a few random pics off my cell phone of work we've done...
