I've owned 6:
87 base DD [red car in sig]
87 GXL [Killed by my mistake and a *itch in a Tahoe]
83 GSL [Sold... Presumed dead ]
90 Vert [Sold... Then stolen and gone..]
87 T][ [Sold to leftcoastdrifter, for a future in drifting]
91 A Package Turbo Project [Black car in sig]

My uncle had an NA FC which got T-boned by someone running a red and then he got a GSL-SE that wasn't reliable enough to hang on to [bad flooding issues] - I think he had the FC was in the late 80's and the GSL-SE in the early 90's [I only remember his FB]. He always says that his FC was his favorite car of all time [He had had a variety of muscle cars and some random things like an MG back before the FC..]

I don't think anyone else in the family had a rotary [that I know of], my Dad was into muscle cars [he has a bunch of bracket racing trophies from his 69 Camaro days] and my other uncle was silly [he had... A van, which was like his second living room, I'm told XD lol..]

Someday I'd love to own a REPU, but I fear by the time I could afford it, they'll be impossible to find and or super expensive. :/ Same for the FD, except they've always been super expensive XD.

Though my favorite car will always be the FC.. IMO the most beautiful car ever created... [S5 turbo, in black or forest green]. lol, people often give me weird looks and "WTF.. Really..? You'd turn down a Ferrari/Veyron/etc for that...?" [Not if I were being offered a free one, but I'd immediately sell it and build an even more cherry FC XD]

I currently own both of the 7's in my Avatar,
Have had 7 FC's and 1 FB.

..my Dad bought an 87 non turbo new off the lot,
I learned to drive in it back in the early 90's, and bought it off him in 2002
Drove it for a while, but ended up selling it because it kept flooding,

Somwhere in the mid 90's my brother had an FB, I think it was an 84 GSL

I got a 90 Vert in 2003,

Then I bought 90 GTU with a blown engine,
did full TII swap & some mods,
ran 13.3 @ 105mph

So I Sold the 90 Vert.
then blew up engine in the GTU,
got another engine blew it up too,..
parted out drivetrain to prep for V8 swap, but never did it,
sold the car,..
only to buy it back 3 years later in the same condition from a different person.

& now I just bought an 89 TII yesterday,
Recently rebuilt by a friend, runs good, but the rear end is grinding & windshield smashed out.

so I'm taking the diff from the GTU (S4 TII unit) & putting it in the 89 TII & running that for a while while I figure out what to do with the gtu.

Somewhere in the last 10 years i've also owned the following:

-88gxl auto, bougt cheap & sold without fixing.
ran fine but died if you put it in gear.

-88TII parts car, bought cheap and parted it out somewhat,
& sold what was left to a friend that was doing a TII swap.

-85 GSL-SE, bought cheap & sold without fixing.
Ran fine but woudn't stop revving.

-88 TII, bought cheap fixed & sold for a huge profit

At one point between my Dad and I we had at the same time:

1985 GSL-SE
1984 GSL-SE
1984 GSL
1983 GSL
1982 GSL

Currently the 1983 GSL and 1984 GSL are the only ones left. The 83 needs carb work and the 84 is barely still there after sitting for 10+ years with a broken transmission, leaking coolant seals in the engine, and a stripped interior. My cousin has a 93 Touring also.
